What kind of plant is this?

It should be Lagerstroemia microphylla, Lagerstroemia indica, also known as Lagerstroemia tenuifolia, Melaleuca, prurigo and so on. Deciduous trees, up to 10m, can be folded. The bark is slender and smooth after peeling. Branchlets are slightly quadrangular and usually have narrow wings. Simple leaves are opposite or nearly opposite, oval to obovate, 3 ~ 7 cm long, nearly hairless or hairy along the north midvein, and short stalks.
