How to train children to draw?

1. Train children to draw through language guidance.

For example, we describe a scene for our children: "Today is Xiaoming's birthday, we eat cake together, and then we draw a picture of eating cake together." Through such language description, children can imagine such a scene while eating cakes, thus stimulating their enthusiasm for painting and improving their interest in painting.

2. Don't just take interest in painting.

Cultivating children to draw is definitely not to let them take an interest class in drawing according to pictures. The teacher put a picture in the middle and asked all the children to follow, and the pictures drawn were similar.

What's more, some teachers in "interest classes" will draw the outline of the border first and let the children draw it, but they can't draw it outside the border. This will not only cultivate children's interest in painting, but will kill their interest.

3. Don't give children a "demonstration" easily.

When drawing with children, many parents will naturally say to their children, "Let's draw a duckling, and then accuse the children that this painting is wrong and that painting is not good. If you do this often, children will lose interest in painting, and they will often say "draw one" or "you draw it" to their mother when painting in the future.

4. Try various painting "tools"

For children, painting is an experience, and the brush is the longest thought. In fact, many things in life can be used as painting tools, such as sponges, cotton swabs, car wheels, painting with brushes, painting with straws, splashing water with small bowls, putting painting paper on slopes, painting with pigments, and using gravity to form paintings.
