Guiyang Riverside Park is located on the Nanming River in the urban area. It was built in 1942 and covers an area of 123300 square meters. The environment is elegant, small and unique. Guizhou Experimental Middle School is in the east, Renmin Avenue in the west and Ruijin Road in the north.

In 2002, the municipal government invested more than 30 million yuan to upgrade Binjiang Park. On June 5438+1 October1day, 2003, it was officially admitted to the park free of charge, becoming the first central city park in Guizhou Province. In 2005, it was rated as "National 3A-level Tourist Attraction" by the National Tourism Administration. 20 16 became the only disaster prevention and safe haven park in Guiyang.

Entering the gate of the park, the most striking thing is an ancient ginkgo tree, with 32 magnolia trees planted in two rows on the central axis, seasonal flowers at the bottom, four-season osmanthus hedges, crape myrtle, Xifu begonia, hibiscus and so on on on the left and right sides, plus four-season grass flowers on the edge of the hedge. The park is full of flowers and trees all year round.

According to the different areas of the park, "small gardens" such as Sakura Mountain, Bitaoyuan, Yulan Park, Guihua Mountain and Ginkgo Forest have been built. At present, there are 84 ginkgo trees, nearly 200 peach trees, nearly 100 magnolia trees, more than 220 cherry trees and nearly 150 osmanthus trees. Every flowering period, cherry blossoms are snowing, peaches are delicate and charming, sweet-scented osmanthus is fragrant, ginkgo is shining, and magnolia is lovely, attracting the general public to watch and take pictures.

Zhang Shiqi, the organizer and leader of the Xinhai Revolution in Guizhou, is the most important representative of the Xinhai Revolution in Guizhou. The central axis of the park is shaded by trees, the totem pole sculpture is tall and straight, the terrain is flat, the mountains on both sides of the park are green, the vegetation is lush, the winding path is secluded, and the pavilions, Little Square and bird paradise are arranged in order, providing tourists with a good place to have tea, walk the birds, exercise and carry out entertainment activities.
