How can morning glory become a short and stocky potted flower?

Morning glory is a famous climbing herb flower. However, if the inhibition method is used, it can make its winding stem grow upright and become a short and clustered potted flower.

The method is as follows: firstly, spread 3 cm thick soybean-sized soil particles on the bottom of the basin, and then spread fertile soil at 1.5 cm to the mouth of the basin. Then insert 5 seeds in the center of the pot at a depth of 1.5 cm, cover them with a piece of glass after watering, and let them dry in the sun, but keep the pot soil moist. After 7 days of germination, 14 days, two trees with poor growth can be removed, and the remaining three trees are cored, leaving only two true leaves for each tree. When two lateral branches grow in the axils of leaves, only two leaves are left for the lateral branches to pick the core. Using this method of constantly picking the heart and leaving the leaves can inhibit the occurrence of twining buds. After the fourth coring, the plants have become overgrown and erect. When the flower buds germinate from the axils of 1 ~ 2 true leaves, they will bloom soon. This method can also prolong the flowering period of morning glory.
