What are the taboos for the maintenance of Lagerstroemia indica?

(1) Avoid improper pruning of young trees. Dense inflorescences affect ventilation and light transmission, causing diseases and insect pests.

(2) Avoid insufficient fertilizer and water and untimely pruning. Destroy its flowering. When the flower buds differentiate, Lagerstroemia indica blooms in that year. Water and fertilizer conditions should be ensured in the early flowering stage, and 4 ~ 5 leaflets of residual flowers should be cut off in time after flowering.
