Wudang Mountain, located in Shiyan City, Hubei Province, is the birthplace of Tai Ji Chuan and a national key scenic spot. These ancient buildings are listed as world cultural heritage. Wudang Mountain has beautiful scenery, beautiful mountains and rivers, numerous peaks, purple seasons and misty clouds, as well as large-scale ancient buildings, profound martial arts and long-standing Taoist culture, all of which add mysterious and ethereal temperament to Wudang Mountain.

Shiyan geographical environment

Shiyan City is located in the northwest of Hubei Province, the east of Qinba Mountain, the middle and upper reaches of the Han River, and the junction of western Henan, southwestern Shaanxi and eastern Chongqing. It borders Baokang, Gucheng and Laohekou in Xiangyang City, Hubei Province in the east. It is connected with Xichuan County in Nanyang City, Henan Province in the northeast, Shangnan County, Shanyang County and Zhen 'an County in Shangluo City, Shaanxi Province in the north, Baihe County, Xunyang County, Pingli County and zhenping county in Ankang City, Shaanxi Province in the west, and Shennongjia in Hubei Province and Wuxi County in Chongqing in the south.

Shiyan City is located in the mid-latitude area and belongs to the subtropical monsoon climate. The territory is bounded by Qingfeng fault, which belongs to Qingfeng platform fold bundle in Yangtze paraplatform area in the south and Qinling fold system in the north. Among them, Qinling fold system belongs to Jinjiling syncline area, Wudang Mountain anticlinorium area and Beidaba Mountain fold area, with two cloud faults and Zhushan faults respectively, and the structural characteristics of each area are obviously different.
