Furniture wood is classified according to its characteristics, materials and sources.

Cork and hardwood

According to the characteristics of wood, it can be divided into two types: softwood and broadleaf. Cork mainly grows in the north, and broad-leaved trees mainly grow in the south. Most softwoods have high density and slow growth, so they are high-quality industrial timber, such as northeast pine, manchurian ash, oak and so on. Generally, hardwood materials are complex, some are loose, such as Chinese fir, but some are extremely dense, such as camphor wood and rosewood.

Cork and hardwood

Classification by material: divided into soft material and hard material. Soft materials are relatively loose and are generally used for low-grade furniture or furniture auxiliary purposes. Hard material is hard, which is the structure of furniture and the main material of furniture.

Domestic and imported wood

Classification by source: it is divided into domestic wood and imported wood.
