The story of Taiping Youth is generally regarded as the Taiping Jing in the Taoist collection. It was born out of the Taiping Jing written by Gan Zhongke, a Qi man in the Western Han Dynasty. As the length of the book is getting longer and longer, it has become a masterpiece of 170 volumes by Gong Chong.
Regarding the content of Taiping Jing, Xiang Kai Zhuan said simply: "Committed to serving the world, following the five elements, and the art of rejuvenating the country and spreading it to future generations." And he said, "Witches are full of miscellaneous words." This is similar to the Taiping Jing left in today's Taoist collection, and it is not revolutionary. However, the biography of Li Xun before the Han Dynasty quoted Gan Zhongke's Taiping Jing of Tianguan Baoliyuan. "It is said that when the Han family reached the end of heaven and earth, it should be God's will, and the Emperor of Heaven told Chi Jing to teach me so." Such words can't be found in today's incomplete edition of Taiping Jing, but the slogan of "Heaven dies, and the yellow day stands" advocated by Zhang Jiao and others during the Yellow Scarf Uprising may not have no source, but may be influenced by Gan Zhongke's prediction.
Since the defeat of the Yellow Scarf Army, the great momentum of Taiping Road in the Central Plains has also been hit and restored. More than ten years later, the earliest people who taught Taiping Ching Ling Shu appeared in Wu (Wuxian County, Jiangsu Province) and Hui (Huiji County, Zhejiang Province). It was cured with water, which attracted many disciples and won the trust of Sun Ce soldiers, thus touching Sun Ce's anger and being killed. Taiping Road later had no chance of revival.

The Biography of the Later Han Dynasty Huangfusong said: At the beginning, Julu called himself' Teacher Dade', served Huang, accepted disciples, and bowed down for the first time, saying that he used water spells to cure diseases. The patient has recovered quite well, and the people are convinced of it. Jiao sent eight disciples to all directions to transform the world with goodness and turn it into confusion. Over the past ten years, hundreds of thousands of disciples have connected people from Ziqing, Xuyou, Youyou, Hebei, Jingyang, Yanzhou and Henan counties. Then set 36 squares. Early Taoism directly inherited the tradition of Taoism and worship of Huang Lao in Han Dynasty. Wudou Rice Knife and Taiping Knife founded at the end of the Eastern Han Dynasty were both developed from Huang. "The Biography of the Later Han Dynasty Huangfusong" contains: "At the beginning, Julu claimed to be a great teacher and served Huang." Religiously speaking, the "avenue" entrusted and respected by Taiping Road is the god of "ruling Kunlun forever", that is, the deified Laozi. Taiping Road may be just a heretical group of Huang at first. Zhang Ling, a native of Pei Guofeng (now Fengxian County, Jiangsu Province), was originally a student of Artest. Taoism in past dynasties called Zhang Lingzhi's way "Shi Tian's way", and the text of Taiping Jing was written in the form of a question and answer between real people, immortals and Shi Tian. The word "Shi Tian" was first seen in Zhuangzi Xu Wugui. As for Xiangcheng's wilderness, the Yellow Emperor met a boy who was a horse herder, so he asked the way of "serving the world" and said that he had nothing to do but "kill horses". Zhang Jiao believes in Taiping Jing, and he named the Huang Lao Dao organization he founded as Taiping Dao, which came directly from Taiping Jing. The so-called Taiping Dao means doing what it wants to do before Taiping, because Taiping Dao, its promise, its national wealth, its destiny and its treasure. Zhang Jiao claimed to be the teacher of great virtue, and also came from Taiping Jing. Volume 90: There is a thousand pounds of gold in this matter, which is a treasure of thousands of pairs. If you don't learn from the teacher, you won't learn. You can't do great things if you want to govern the country happily. Why can it be done at once? Volume 98: There are billions of stars, and I can't tell you for a day. Zhu Tianqun's words are not as good as those of the country. Zhang Jiao claimed to be a teacher of great virtue, but actually regarded himself as a prophet of Taiping Road. His purpose was to take the road of great harmony, thus teaching the world to save people and achieve world peace.
The main magic of Zhang Jiao's preaching is to teach people to kowtow and think, and to cure diseases with water. This thought of kowtowing also comes from Taiping Jing. In Zhang Jiao's view, heaven and even Tao are Tao, earth and even Germany are home, and * * * gives birth to everything, with nothing hidden and nothing private. People's mistakes are caused by violation of heaven. If you want to cure a disease, you must bow your head the first time. The way to bow down for the first time is to thank the surrounding areas on the four roads in the wilderness, kowtow to the five elements, look to the sky first, and then kowtow to the ground. ..... Xiezi Taitian. After that, everyone was like children. Heaven can see human behavior and understand human language. To bow down to heaven and earth is to ask the gods to forgive themselves and relieve their sins and pains, so people in the wilderness should be in the light; Therefore, people on the road, people on the road, take care of things; So, four people, when paying four people. The so-called compound word is compound text and the prototype of Taoist symbols. Swallowing sperm is swallowing symbols. Taking Dan as the word, that is, writing, is a kind of figure with curved strokes, which resembles words rather than words.
The so-called amulet hydrotherapy is to burn amulets to ashes and drink them with wine or water, which is called swallowing amulets.
Swallowing a symbol means keeping it in your heart. When you think of it, the divine power of the symbol will come out, all diseases will be dispelled, and people will return to a healthy state and be full of energy. Therefore, the Taiping Jing says: If you swallow my character today, you can learn from it and teach it a hundred times. In an instant, it is between eight directions and six rivers, and the spirit will be healed. (2) This is the charm of Zhang Jiao's hydrotherapy mantra, and it is also a wish, that is, the word of God. It has infinite power. You can cure diseases if you read it.
Taiping Jing (Volume 50) and Blessing by God (Article 75) call the mantra "Blessing by God": There are always sacred words in the sky. Now when people are taught to speak, God officials respond to their anger and the people get it, which is called "Blessing by God".

Zhang Jiao preached that the teacher held up nine sticks as a symbol of blessing. Nine staff, meaning scepter, also comes from Taiping Jing. The forty-second volume of Taiping Jing says: the heavenly heart can be ruled, so that the nine gases can be in harmony and the nine people can be in peace, so it can be peaceful for the emperor. The so-called nine people, that is, their invisible gods, are responsible for their vitality; The great god is in charge of heaven; Real people are in the right place; The post of immortal is in the four seasons; Avenue people are in charge of the five elements; The duty of a saint is to manage yin and yang; Sages manage documents and teach them; Everyone is in charge of vegetation and food; The handmaiden's job is to manage the goods. Volume 71 of Taiping Jing says: The Tao has nine degrees. ..... One is lack of vitality, the other is nothingness, three figures can be seen separately, four are wandering out and returning to the opposite side, five are road gods similar to the four seasons and five elements, six are stabbing blessings, seven are seeking social benefits, eight are external gods, and nine are family first.

Taiping Road founded by Zhang Jiao worships Huang Lao and Huang Zhong Taiyi. Taiyi is also Taiyi. According to historical records, Beichen is a star in Wei Zi Palace, and Taiyi has been living there. Zhang Shoujie's "Justice" said: Taiyi is also an alias of the Emperor of Heaven. During the Qin and Han Dynasties, Taiyi was regarded as the Arctic emperor or the Emperor of Heaven in Wei Zi Palace, and was the highest god who dominated the center of heaven. The book "Historical Records" and "Zen" said: God is too expensive, and the first one is the Five Emperors. In the Han Dynasty, Taiyi was regarded as a better fairy than Huangdi, the Beidou god. Wang Han Mangzhuan quoted Zigetu: Taiyi and Huangdi were immortals. In the book "Spring and Autumn Annals and Sincerity Map" in the west, there is also a saying that the Yellow Emperor asked Taiyi how to live forever. There is also a belief in Taiyi in Taiping Jing, and there is a concept that Taiyi is located in the center. Zhang Jiao claimed to be the yellow sky, wrapped in a yellow scarf, and put forward the slogan that the sky is dead and the yellow sky should stand upright. This is why Huang Taiyi is a god.
In addition to preaching in his hometown of Jizhou, Zhang Jiao also sent eight disciples to preach everywhere. In a short period of more than ten years, people from eight of the twelve states in China participated in Taiping Road, with hundreds of thousands of followers. In order to facilitate the organization and management, Zhang Jiao organized Taoists all over Qing, Xu, You, Ji, Jing, Yang, Yan and Yu into a parish organization with the party as the unit. There are 36 political parties in the country, with more than 10,000 generous people and 67,000 small parties, and all parties have Qu Shuai in charge.
In this way, after more than ten years of missionary activities, a huge yellow organization, Taiping Road, was finally established, with hundreds of thousands of believers, covering more than two-thirds of the state capitals in the country.
