Why does Shennongjia prohibit outsiders from entering?

This kind of security mainly has the following three aspects.

First, fear of being lost. We should know that the depths of Shennongjia are not only steep peaks and deep valleys, but also belong to the "primitive zone" and the "vacuum zone", in which high-tech modern electronic navigation equipment products such as electronic instruments, compasses and mobile phones will completely fail, which has a great relationship with the chaotic magnetic field in Shennongjia.

Once tourists enter, there is no signal in the virgin forest of more than 3,000 square kilometers. Once they get lost, it is equivalent to fighting alone and not contacting the outside world. The degree of danger can be imagined, which is basically a narrow escape.

The second is fear of meeting "savage".

No matter from the records of ancient books in the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period, or from the many times witnessed by modern people, the savage in Shennongjia seems to be everywhere. 19 15 (in the fourth year of the Republic of China), a man named Wang Laozhong met a 2-meter-long monster with red hair and was taken away by this monster. 10 years later, he found an opportunity to escape and ran home. At this time, his family had already recognized his appearance.

The most legendary thing is that there was a woman in Shennongjia area in the 1960s. After being kidnapped by the savage, she gave birth to a child named "Monkey Baby". Children are small and stunted, and by the time they are teenagers, their intelligence is only equivalent to that of a 4-year-old child.

1974, Yin Hongfa, a farmer from Qingxigou Brigade, Qiaoshang Commune, Fangxian County, Hubei Province, said that he witnessed and struggled with the savages. On September 3rd, 1993, ten experts from Gucheng Bridge Factory of the Bridge Engineering Bureau of the Ministry of Railways saw the "black-and-red-haired savage" at Yanziya, Shennong.

Shennongjia's savage legend has a long history. Whether there are savages is still inconclusive. But because of the legendary savage, afraid of bringing unknown risks to tourists, they are not allowed to enter:

The third is fear of "attack". There are not only deadly miasma in the forest, but also poisonous snakes and beasts everywhere. You can imagine how dangerous the tourists inside are.

Second, protect rare animals and plants.

You should know that there are 73 kinds of key protected wild animals here, such as golden monkey, leopard, macaque, civet, gazelle, muntjac, impala, spoon chicken and giant salamander. There are 76 national key protected plants in Shennongjia, such as Lagerstroemia indica, Phoebe bournei, Cercidiphyllum japonicum, Prunus armeniaca, Acer negundo, Corylus heterophylla and Ilex. There are more than 0/800 kinds of medicinal plants/kloc-,which is known as "natural medicine garden" and enjoys a world-renowned reputation.

In order to protect these rare animals and plants from being destroyed, it is also forbidden to enter.

It is precisely because of this that in order to ensure the safety of tourists' ginseng, the depths of Shennongjia have not been opened to the outside world so far. In order to better protect Shennongjia, the local authorities also issued relevant documents. Article 6 of the Regulations on the Protection of Natural Resources in Shennongjia, Hubei Province: In the nature reserve, any unit or individual, including foreigners, must obtain the consent of the competent forestry authorities at or above the provincial level in accordance with China's regulations to carry out the above activities in the core area and experimental area.
