The history of Putian

Putian, historically known as Xing 'an and Xinghua, is also known as Puyang and Puxian. It is one of the ancient houses in Bamin, and there are many talented people in history. Since ancient times, it has been known as "a famous country in literature and Zou Lu by the sea". Guxinghua House, composed of Puxian County, has more than 2,400 scholars, 22 Chinese Wushu champions, 14 prime ministers and nearly 70 ministers. It is a famous empire in history. /kloc-in 0/983, it was approved by the State Council to be a provincial city of Fujian Province, which governs Xianyou County and four districts of Licheng, Chengxiang, Hanjiang and Xiuyu. The city has a total land area of 4,200 square kilometers and a population of 3.02 million, with more than 600,000 people doing business all the year round. There are many talented people from Putian living abroad. There are more than 5,000 talents with senior titles and above in China, including China Academy of Sciences and China Academy of Engineering 15 (one of them is an academician of the two academies). There are about 700,000 overseas Chinese, nearly 200,000 compatriots from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, and 300,000 returned overseas Chinese. It is one of the important hometown of overseas Chinese in China.
