In spring, bougainvillea grows faster and faster, so it needs to be watered every day, and water is often sprinkled on and around the leaves to increase the air humidity. If you water less in spring, the leaves will fall off because of insufficient humidity.

In summer, bougainvillea needs watering twice a day, spraying water in the morning and watering once after 4 pm.

After the temperature drops in autumn, keep the basin soil moist. When the temperature is lower than 10℃, reduce watering and keep the basin soil dry. If the temperature is above 15℃, water it properly.

Reduce watering in winter, and do not water the basin soil.

Third, fertilize bougainvillea. Bougainvillea likes light, and the plant grows weakly due to insufficient light, which affects flowering. In winter, bougainvillea should be placed in a bright place, and the illumination time should not be less than 8 hours every day, otherwise there will be a large area of fallen leaves.
