How to raise colored roses?

There are four basic steps in the cultivation of colored roses: potting soil, pruning, fertilization and temperature. Potted soil should be loose, breathable, well drained and fertile. Topping at seedling stage, pruning branches and leaves at growing stage, and pruning residual flowers after flowering. Topdressing potassium dihydrogen phosphate foliar fertilizer once a month during the growth and flowering period, and the optimum growth temperature is kept at 12-28 degrees.

Cultivation methods of colored roses 1. Potted soil

If you want to breed colorful roses, you naturally need suitable pot soil. Because of its strong adaptability to the environment, it likes to grow in loose, breathable, well-drained and fertile sandy loam, so it can be prepared with humus soil, plant ash soil, river sand about 1/4 and a small amount of base fertilizer.

Second, pruning

Topping the colorful roses when they grow to 7- 10 leaves. After the secondary branches grow, only two secondary branches are left on each branch, and the rest are all topped. In winter, some dead branches, long branches, twigs, diseased dead branches and old branches are cut off one by one, and all residual flowers are pruned after flowering.

Third, fertilization.

The growth of colored roses needs a proper amount of fertilizer, and the fertilizer is usually mainly decomposed organic fertilizer. Fertilize regularly during the growth period and flowering period, and apply potassium dihydrogen phosphate foliar fertilizer once. Be careful not to apply thick fertilizer or raw fertilizer to avoid burning roots.

Fourth, temperature.

Picked roses like to grow in a warm environment, and the most suitable growth temperature is 12-28 degrees. So when the temperature is too high or too low, flowers will wither and die. Put it in a cool environment at high temperature and in a sunny and warm environment at low temperature.
