Legal basis:

Article 3 Male citizens who have reached the age of 18 before 65438+February 3/every year shall be enlisted for active service. Those who were not enlisted in that year can still be enlisted for active service before the age of 22. According to the needs of the army, female citizens may be recruited for active service in accordance with the provisions of the preceding paragraph. According to the needs of the army and the principle of voluntariness, male and female citizens who reached the age of/kloc-0 in February of that year/the year before last/kloc-0 under the age of 7/kloc-0 under the age of 8 can be enlisted for active service. Citizens who have serious physical defects or serious disabilities and are unsuitable for military service are exempted from military service. Citizens who apply for the job are the only labor force to support their family life or students who are studying in full-time schools, and their application can be postponed. People deprived of political rights according to law are not recruited. Citizens who are being investigated, prosecuted, tried or sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment, criminal detention or public surveillance shall not be recruited.
