In terms of creative thinking, it is not biased towards noble trees and is not limited by genres. It pursues artistic conception and strives for perfection. Born in Wuhan, Hubei Province, 1924, associate professor of fine arts, specializing in painting and calligraphy, arts and crafts and art theory. He is currently honorary president of China Bonsai Artists Association, vice chairman of Flower Bonsai Appreciation Branch of China Landscape Architecture Society, vice chairman of Hubei Flower Bonsai Association, vice chairman of Wuhan Flower Bonsai Association and honorary editor-in-chief of Flower Bonsai magazine.

He has been engaged in bonsai art activities for more than 50 years. For rock bonsai, tree bonsai, tree and stone bonsai, basin art theory and basin art education, they have all developed and innovated.

Theoretically, a series of theories are put forward, such as "using literary thoughts, artistic dialectics and aesthetics to guide bonsai modeling". He wrote a series of monographs, such as bonsai art modeling theory, dynamic bonsai theory and tree and stone bonsai theory, and published a large number of articles in professional newspapers and periodicals. He has served as the editorial board of China Bonsai, Selected Works of China Bonsai, China Bonsai Art Grand View and China Bonsai Academic Essays, and has been assigned to write gardening-related articles in China Agricultural Encyclopedia. 1984 participated in the establishment of "Flower Bonsai" magazine so far.

Known as modern China bonsai, it is a combination of passion and ideas, and pays equal attention to the nation and the times. The new work "Five Thousand Years of Sea Breeze Blowing" has won unanimous praise from the international bonsai community and is known as "the most realistic, contemporary and intimate work".

Participated in organizing and hosting national bonsai exhibitions, root art exhibitions, academic seminars, bonsai seminars and training courses for many times.
