Fortune Telling Collection - Ziwei fortune-telling - Wei Zi Hunyuan brand

Wei Zi Hunyuan brand

For Shanxi, most travelers are familiar with it. After all, the phrase "underground cultural relics look at Shaanxi and above-ground cultural relics look at Shanxi" can be described as a household name. However, only when you have really been here, will you sigh that there are many historical sites scattered in every corner.

Even some lesser-known counties are rich in historical sites, such as Datong Hunyuan, which Ma Qian visited a few days ago. Hunyuan, which is not well known, hides seven national key cultural protection units, among which the Hanging Temple, one of the top ten buildings in the world, is Hunyuan signboard scenic spot.

In addition to the famous Hanging Temple, these national protected sites include Yuanjue Temple, a brick tower in Jin Dynasty, Dayun Temple, a water and land mural in Yuan Dynasty, and Li Yumei's graveyard, the tomb of famous ministers in Qing Dynasty.

Punch 1 Monument-Anji

Tourism highlights: wooden buildings in the Yuan Dynasty, land and water murals in the Yuan Dynasty, and integration of six religious elements.

After repeated campaigns in Song, Liao and Jin Dynasties, people began to seek the comfort brought by religion, and many Buddhist temples stood in front of the world again. Anji of Hunyuan has the same fate. After the demise of the Jin Dynasty, the Yuan Dynasty began to rebuild, forming a temple with many religious elements such as Buddhism, Taoism, Shamanism and Tibetan Buddhism.

The authentic lecture hall behind Tianwang Temple is the core tourist attraction of Ai 'an Temple, and the five-room single-eaves building with a roof is the relic of Yuan Dynasty. The blue, green and Huang San glazed tiles on the top of the hall are matched, and the shape is exquisite and vivid.

More vivid and precious are the murals in the temple, with the theme of the land and water dharma meeting. According to the cultural administrator, these murals are mainly divided into eight parts, namely, Wang Ming's performance, Watson's paradise, kindness and morality, ten enlightenment, empty hiding and awakening scrolls.

Many of these murals are unique. What surprises me most is that David doesn't respect the Ming king and has strong Tibetan Buddhist characteristics.

There are quite a few such unique scenery in Ai 'an Temple, and you will be surprised by the unique architectural style of exotic glazed tiles and authentic Buddhist halls replacing Daxiong Hall.

The Second Monument of Punching Cards-Yuanjue Temple Brick Pagoda

Tourist attractions: Jin Dynasty brick towers, tower reliefs, tower relics, murals, migratory birds at the top of the tower.

Hundreds of meters away from Yuanjue Temple, there is also a brick tower of the Jin Dynasty that has been preserved to this day. It is the seventh batch of national cultural protection units in China. As high as 30 meters, it is the representative of the existing brick tower in Jin Dynasty in China and the landmark building in hun yuan.

Brick carvings can be seen on the tower. Kabuki music, warriors and beasts are somewhat broken, but their exquisiteness can still be seen. King Kong and Lux are very good at the corner. It is said that the murals of the Ming Dynasty are still preserved in the tower, but it is a pity that tourists are not allowed to climb the tower and have no chance to enjoy them.

If you look carefully, you will find that the decoration on the pagoda is very special. It represents the oldest existing anemometer in China-"Wind Migratory Birds", but it is a very rare cultural relic now and the biggest attraction of the brick tower of Yuanjue Temple.

The Third Historic Site of Punching Cards-Hunyuan Confucian Temple

Tourism Highlights: Dacheng Hall in Ming Dynasty

Further south, there is also a national protection unit-Hunyuan Confucian Temple, which, like the brick tower of Yuanjue Temple, is the seventh batch of national key cultural relics protection units. Hunyuan Confucian Temple, which was built in Liao Dynasty, has been repaired and added in all previous dynasties. Most of the buildings I see now are relics of the Ming and Qing Dynasties.

Perhaps because the brick towers of Yuanjue Temple and Ai 'an Temple are too dazzling, Hunyuan Confucian Temple looks a lot dimmer, but the locals like to sit in front of the mountain and chat, which is a bit more primitive.

After entering from the mountain gate, you can see Dacheng Hall, which is five rooms wide and three rooms deep. The top of the one-eaves palace symbolizes its dignity. The main hall is a relic of the Ming Dynasty, but it has a strong style of Jin-Yuan wood structure.

In addition, there is another national cultural heritage in the county-Li Yumei Cemetery, which is the hometown of Li Yumei, a famous minister in the Qing Dynasty, and was built by Daoguang of the Qing Dynasty. It is also the only place to appreciate ancient buildings. It can be said that hun yuan, with few tourists, will make you feel the original ecological atmosphere everywhere, and you can't help admiring the small county town at the foot of Hengshan Mountain as a treasure.

Hunyuan travel tips:

How to get there: You can take the Datong-Hunyuan bus from Datong East Bus Station, get off at Hunyuan Post Office, and get on the bus at this station when you return.

Tickets: Except for the cemetery in Li Yumei, several scenic spots in hun yuan are free, but the brick tower of Yuanjue Temple is not open, and you have to see the cultural administrator to enter.
