Is crape myrtle a colorful tree?

Lagerstroemia microphylla is not a colorful tree. Lagerstroemia microphylla, scientific name Lagerstroemia macrophylla, also known as Lagerstroemia tenuifolia, Dioscorea zingiberensis, prurigo and so on. Deciduous trees, up to 10m, can be folded. The bark is slender and smooth after peeling. Branchlets are slightly quadrangular and usually have narrow wings. The single leaf is opposite or nearly opposite, oval to obovate, 3 ~ 7 cm long, nearly hairless or hairy along the north midvein, and the stalk is short. Panicle was born at the end of the branch of that year, with white, purple, red and purple flowers, with a diameter of about 2.5 ~ 3 cm.
