Distributed in China, Hebei, Shandong, Henan, Shanxi, Gansu, Shaanxi, Sichuan, Guizhou, Guangxi, Hubei, Hunan, Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Fujian. Cultivation in Kunming area. Born on wet rocks in valleys, beside dripping limestone, in the shade of sparse forests, in wet places on barren slopes and under forests on hillsides, with an altitude of 300-2900 meters.

China Begonia has beautiful plant shape, peculiar leaf shape and gorgeous colors, which makes it an excellent greenhouse flower for viewing flowers, leaves, stems and fruits. Plants and tuberous roots can be used as medicine, which has the functions of sweating and treating bone and muscle pain.
