How many star hotels are there in China?

By the first quarter of 20 16, there were 8 16 five-star hotels in China. From 2065438 to February 2003, there were 758 five-star hotels in China.

In the first quarter of 20 16, a total of 1 1037 hotels were approved by provincial tourism authorities, including 87 one-star hotels, 2,342 two-star hotels, 5,354 three-star hotels, 2,438 four-star hotels and 865,438 five-star hotels.

Determination of hotel star rating:

The National Tourism Administration has established the National Tourism Star Hotel Evaluation Committee, which is the highest institution responsible for the national star rating.

All tourist hotels that have been in business for more than one year in People's Republic of China (PRC) (China) can apply for star rating. Hotels that have reached the corresponding star-rated standards after evaluation shall be awarded the corresponding star-rated certificates and signs by the star-rated agencies of national tourist hotels. The constellation is valid for three years.

Scoring standard:

One star: 100, two stars: 160, three stars: 220, four stars: 290 and five stars: 380.
