Japan Pascal Co., Ltd. was founded in 1974, formerly known as Xiangsheng Seiki Co., Ltd., and its brand name "Pascal" comes from the well-known "Pascal principle".

French blaise pascal founded Pascal's principle in the 7th century, which is the basic principle of static fluid mechanics. Because his research on liquid pressure laid the foundation of fluid mechanics and meteorology, later generations named the international unit of pressure Pascal. As a scientist, Pascal advocated that "experiment is the only teacher in nature" and established the methodology of experiment in scientific research.
