Can the shield UY star be observed?

UY is a red Supergiant star in the shield. According to its serial number, it is invisible to the naked eye. But better home telescopes can usually see it. Because the limit magnitude of a good home astronomical telescope can reach+1 1, it can be seen for stars with a magnitude of about 9. Of course, it should be carried out on a clear and windless night with extremely weak ground background light.

But even in this case, in the telescope, it is only a faint little light spot.
