Why can't Germany and France quit NATO?

The reasons for quitting NATO are not sufficient.

NATO has a large number of nuclear weapons and conventional troops and is an important military force in the West. This is the symbol of the military strategic alliance of the capitalist camp after World War II, the extension and development of the Marshall Plan in the military field, enabling the United States to control the defense system of the European Union, and also the symbol of the leading position of the United States as a world superpower.

A statement of Sweden's intention to join NATO will be submitted to NATO. On July 5, local time, NATO Secretary General Stoltenberg, Finnish Foreign Minister haavisto and Swedish Foreign Minister Linde formally signed the protocol of Finland and Sweden's accession to NATO at NATO headquarters in Brussels. According to the procedure, the protocol will then be submitted to the existing 30 NATO member States for ratification.
