Zhang Ling, the translator of Wuthering Heights, urgently needs a personal profile?

Zhang Ling (1936-) is a native of Yantai, Shandong, and a Beijinger. Graduated from Chinese Department of Peking University, he is currently the editor of Foreign Languages Institute of China Academy of Social Sciences. He is the author of The Story of Hardy and The Story of Dickens, and translated the love history of the pastor.

Zhang Yang (1922-2006) was born in Wuhan, Hubei. Graduated from the Department of Water Conservancy of Chongqing Central University, once worked as an editor of Xinhua News Agency and a professor of Foreign Languages Department of Shanxi Normal University.

Zhang Ling and Zhang Yang translated A Tale of Two Cities, Pride and Prejudice, Wuthering Heights and The Mayor of Casterbridge.
