What is the origin of the constellation name?

In ancient times, there was a group of shepherds in Arabia, and it was already dark when they came back from grazing every day. In the evening, they have nothing to do but look at the sky and enjoy the beautiful stars. So, they connected several nearby stars with their own imagination, and made up many names according to their shapes, thus producing the names of constellations.

Later, the names of these constellations spread to Greece. The Greeks combined their own legends to fabricate many fairy tales, which further enriched the constellations. There were 48 constellations at that time. In modern times, the west has added some new constellations and fairy tales. Later, IAU decided to divide the stars into 88 constellations. They appear in the night sky in four seasons: spring, summer, autumn and winter.
