Cats shit when they shit.

When a cat defecates, it will make a "poop-poop" sound, which is generally caused by the discharge of intestinal gas during defecation. The gas in the stomach will be discharged with defecation, producing this sound. Cat stools are usually moderate in hardness. If the cat is constipated, it will increase the gas during defecation and make the "poop-poop" sound more obvious. Please note, however, that poop does not necessarily mean constipation, but may just be a common manifestation of cat exhaust.
