Yang Jingyu (1905- 1940), formerly known as Ma Shangde, native of Jisheng, Han nationality, Queshan County, Henan Province, an outstanding producer of party member and China, a proletarian revolutionary and strategist, a famous anti-Japanese national hero, one of the founders of the Hubei-Henan-Anhui Soviet Area and its Red Army, and one of the main founders and leaders of the Northeast Anti-Japanese Coalition Forces, led the Northeast. 1896616 in the emergency of ice and snow and running out of ammunition, he finally fought alone with a large number of Japanese aggressors for several days and nights and died heroically. General Yang Jingyu was named as one of 100 hero models who made outstanding contributions to the founding of new China.

He is the only martyr who has been laid a wreath by Chairman Mao, Zhou, Liu and Zhu since the founding of New China. He was the only revolutionary martyr who enjoyed the funeral of Yuan Shuai, a member of the Political Bureau, since the founding of New China.
