Beyond band history

1983

BEYOND joined the army this year and was formed to take part in a music competition. BEYOND lived up to expectations and won the championship by performing his own works. BEYOND was not yet formed. At the same time, they cooperated with several bands, such as Jia Ju and Jia Qiang, and former Taiji Deng Jianming, and formed a band of NASA. Songs created at this time, such as "Mansion", are mainly English songs, and the genre trend is art.

Beyond, an old band in Hong Kong, was founded in 1983. Before 1993, the lead singer of the band was Ka Kui Wong. This period can be said to be Beyond's most brilliant period. Based on Ka Kui Wong's idea, several members of the band are mainly responsible for the creation and arrangement of songs (with a few exceptions, such as "The Good Earth" and "The Great Wall", written by Liu Zhuohui), which can truly express their views and feelings on a certain theme and their feelings during this period.

The original had four members, and there were five at its peak (it was merged with the Island Band and later separated).
