How many galaxies are highly recognizable?

Is it a galaxy or a constellation, nebula or galaxy?

If there is only one galaxy, there is only one galaxy visible to the naked eye in the northern hemisphere (not counting our Milky Way), and that is the Andromeda galaxy. But it's just a tiny fuzzy point in Andromeda.

If it is a constellation, there are many constellations that are easier to recognize. Now the most obvious is Orion. In the winter sky, Orion is very obvious, just like a trapezoid with two short bottoms overlapping and falling together. There are three bright stars in the middle and two bright stars in the upper and lower corners. As shown below.

The three bright stars in the middle are the three stars in the "three stars in the sky" that China folks often say. From left to right are Shouxing, Fuxing and Lu Xing. In the west, these three stars are the belt around the hunter's waist.

To the east of Orion, there is a brighter star, Sirius, which is the brightest star in the whole day. In the west, it is located in dogs, hounds carried by hunters.

In spring, the most obvious constellation is Leo, just like a question mark written backwards, connected with a small triangle. As shown below.

Le Signe du Lion

In summer, the sky is very lively. On both sides of the Milky Way, there is Aquila, with a bright star in the middle and a very bright star on both sides, but slightly darker than the middle. In China, it is a pole, with an Altair in the middle and a pair of children of him and the Weaver Girl on both sides, carrying it with a pole, waiting to meet the Weaver Girl; On the opposite side of the Milky Way in Aquila, there is a bright star-Vega, and there are four small stars beside it, forming a diamond, like a shuttle woven by a weaver girl. In the west, it is called Lyra, and that little diamond is regarded as a piano. And cygnus, like a cross of five stars. In the west, it is regarded as a flying swan.

In summer, in the southerly sky, there is also a very obvious constellation called Scorpio, with a head composed of three stars in front and a very bright red star in the middle, which is the heart of the scorpion. In ancient China, it was called the Great Mars. The "Fire in July" in The Book of Songs is about this star. Behind it is a string of small stars, which form a hook and are the tails of scorpions.

Cassiopeia and Pegasus are the most famous in the autumn sky. The five bright stars in Cassiopeia form an M-shape (which can also be regarded as a W-shape, of course). Pegasus is almost a square consisting of four bright stars. It's all obvious

The famous Andromeda Galaxy is also the easiest to observe in the autumn sky. The only extragalactic galaxy visible to the naked eye in the northern hemisphere is located in Andromeda. Andromeda has a large area, but there are not many bright stars. It is located in the middle of Perseus, Cassiopeia, Scorpio, Pegasus, Pisces, Triangle and other constellations. The above picture is not marked, but the location of Andromeda galaxy is marked, which is the small ellipse below the word "English" in the above picture.

Is it almost there? Needless to say, the Big Dipper (Ursa Major).
