Discipline construction:

By March, 2022, the school had 39 doctoral degree authorization points, 76 master degree authorization points, professional master degree authorization points 1 1, and 4 post-doctoral research stations.

Law, political science, Marxist theory and theoretical economics are the first-level disciplines authorized by doctoral degree, while philosophy, applied economics, sociology, psychology, foreign languages and literature, journalism and communication, China history, business administration and public administration are the first-level disciplines authorized by master degree. Among them, law is a first-class discipline and politics is a first-class discipline in Beijing.

Evidence science was selected into the list of high-tech disciplines in Beijing universities. In the fourth round of discipline evaluation, nine first-level disciplines of the school participated in the evaluation and all of them were on the list, among which law entered the A+ file.
