How many phases does Shaanxi No.1 constellation plan to complete?

On the occasion of the third "China Aerospace Day", the Shaanxi Provincial Development and Reform Commission and Northwestern Polytechnical University jointly released the "Shaanxi No.1" satellite constellation plan on April 25th. The plan will be completed in three phases, and 256 satellite networks will be gradually built to realize high-frequency remote sensing in Shaanxi Province and the "Belt and Road" region.

The plan can provide real-time, detailed and intuitive image information according to the needs of land and resources investigation, urban planning, environmental monitoring, disaster early warning, agriculture, forestry and water conservancy.

CubeStar is a low-cost micro-satellite that adopts international common standards. It has the characteristics of high standardization, low cost and small size, and has become an important development direction of micro-satellites. The volume of 1U cubic star is10cm×10cm×10cm. On this basis, different loads can be expanded according to different needs of users.

The "Shaanxi No.1" constellation is planned to be developed by Northwestern Polytechnical University and xi 'an Aoxiang Satellite Technology Co., Ltd. At present, the main stars of xi 'an No.1' s plan-A and B are planned to be launched into orbit on June 20 19, which is mainly used to comprehensively monitor the atmospheric haze and water pollution in Shaanxi Province and provide data support for Xi 'an's "iron fist treatment of haze". The "Shaanxi No.1" constellation plans to introduce social and private capital, effectively promote the transformation of scientific and technological achievements of CubeStar, and at the same time draw many industries such as new materials, intelligent manufacturing and big data in Shaanxi Province to form a complete industrial chain integrating satellite design, manufacturing, testing, testing, application and service, and promote the development of commercial aerospace industry in Shaanxi Province.
