Ask for an English introduction of Emma

English synopsis

Emma Woodhouse is a young, beautiful, witty and spoiled woman who lives in hatfield with her elderly widowed father. Encouraged by her previous success, she began to pair her new friend Harriet Smith, a lovely but not very clever girl, with other men. Her behavior led to several misunderstandings and a burst of laughter.

Although Emma has a strong desire to control other people's hearts, she doesn't know her own. It was not until Harriet finally said that she thought Emma's old friend Mr. Knightley was in love with her that jealousy made Emma realize that she loved him herself. Knightley has had a crush on Emma for a long time. So they got married and lived in hatfield with Emma's father.

Recommended reason

A good book for girls:

The language is simple and easy to understand.

Lively people, everyone can find their own shadow in Emma. At the same time, a person will realize how ridiculous and blind he is sometimes. Emma is obviously not a perfect girl, spoiled, overconfident and controlling, which leads to many mistakes. But her warm-hearted and carefree personality will make anyone forgive her any mistakes and love her.
