Maintain Omega constellation ultra-thin 7 12

An alternative series 7 1 1 and 7 12 (observatory) in the old European 7-series movement, Omega in this period is still working hard. When you take off the automatic lever, you can see the structure of this movement at a glance, and the clamping plates are closely arranged together.

The automatic mechanism is completely different from the traditional 7-series structure.

But the gear train structure is still the same.

Leave such a big hole. There are three small steel wheels, two of which are through wheels. This is nothing more than insufficient distance and limited space.

A small steel wheel with large diameter can't hold it.

Small balance wheel, can't help it, they are all crowded together, and the balance wheel has to be reduced.

Clockwork and boxes are very interesting. I forgot to wind it up after the later maintenance. The inner wall of the box is covered with Teflon. This design is good, and no brake oil is needed.

The clockwork will not slip. The spring is thin, thin and long.

The main splint, because there is no calendar, is much fresher and has no special structure, but you can see that there is a hole in the center for installing the second hand.

But I think this action is the purest of the two hands. With the addition of the second hand, the calendar is obsolete and redundant.

After maintenance, it runs well on the computer. This movement is of high quality, worthy of being an Omega.
