What is your intuition?
"People divide their intestines", is this reliable? Scientists have found that, just like blood type, type A, type B and type O have clear definitions, and human intestines can actually be classified. Then, if you want to know the blood type, you can have a blood test. You just need to know the date of birth directly. Want to know how to do intestinal type?
Quite simply, the intestinal types of people all over the world can be classified according to specific intestinal bacteria, regardless of region or race. These bacteria profoundly affect people's functions such as digestion, absorption and metabolism in different ways. So, if you want to know your intestinal type and body function, you might as well look at your intestinal bacteria directly.
What kind of intestine are you?
In human body, there are more than 1000 kinds of intestinal bacteria alone. It can be said that the human intestine is the most complex and diverse "ecosystem" in nature.
These bacteria help us digest food, decompose toxins, produce vitamins and amino acids needed by the human body, and resist foreign invaders. Although each individual is insignificant, their combined weight is close to one kilogram.
Over the years, scientists have observed and studied a large number of intestinal bacteria, and they found that three types of bacteria can survive in people of different sexes and ages, namely Bacteroides, Przewalskii and Luminococcus. These bacteria have different characteristics and play different roles in the human body.
It is the different status and composition of these flora in the intestine that makes the human intestine show different characteristics. Therefore, according to the content of these three kinds of bacteria in human body, the intestine can also be divided into three corresponding types (because there are many kinds of bacteria in human intestine, the three kinds of bacteria mentioned here are the main or most bacteria in a person's intestine). People all over the world, regardless of nationality or race, can't escape these three kinds of intestines.
Different faces
So, what are the characteristics of the intestinal types corresponding to these different bacteria?
In the first type of intestine, Bacteroides rod occupies a dominant position, so we call it Bacteroides intestine. For the convenience of memory, let's call it type A intestine for the time being. Bacteroides is mainly used to decompose complex carbohydrates and protein in food, so it can decompose redundant nutrients in human body. Basically, most people with this gut don't have to worry about being overweight. In addition, people with this kind of intestine have innate advantages in producing vitamins B2, B5, B7 and vitamin C needed by human body. Therefore, they usually don't worry about the lack of these vitamins.
However, this type of intestine also has a significant disadvantage-hydrogen sulfide and other odors will be produced when fermentation products are processed in the body. In addition, type I intestine usually produces many Clostridium species that are easy to cause food poisoning, but few lactic acid bacteria can help digestion and contribute to intestinal health.
The second intestinal type is mainly composed of Lactococcus globulus. Similarly, for the sake of easy memory, we call it type B intestine for the time being. This bacterium is mainly responsible for absorbing and processing monosaccharides and regulating carbohydrates in the intestine. Therefore, contrary to Bacteroides, more rumen cocci in human body will help cells absorb too much sugar, leading to obesity or overweight. Girls who love beauty must avoid it.
However, this kind of intestine also has its unique advantages. For example, rumen cocci are very good at producing pig iron in hemoglobin. Therefore, people with this intestinal tract need not worry about iron deficiency anemia.
The third kind of intestine is mainly composed of the genus Platycladus. Similarly, we call it type C intestine for the time being. Similar to Bacteroides, Przewalskii is rod-shaped. They can decompose mucin produced by the intestine on the mucosa, thus degrading the sticky mucus in the intestine. In addition to the dominant genus Przewalskii, there are many Helicobacter pylori that can cause type C intestinal ulcer. Therefore, people with this type of intestine are more likely to cause gastrointestinal pain when they are inflamed or sick.
Although it is easy to be targeted by stomach diseases, this type of intestine also has its own unique advantages. For example, Przewalskii is good at producing vitamins B 1 and B9 (also known as folic acid), so people with this kind of intestine are not easy to suffer from beriberi (caused by vitamin B 1 deficiency), and for pregnant women, the probability of their fetus suffering from neural tube malformation and cleft lip will be greatly reduced.
If we simply classify it from the physiological situation, then in the crowd, most people with type A intestines are thin or medium-sized, those with type B intestines are prone to obesity or overweight, and those with type C intestines are prone to gastrointestinal pain.
Where does the difference come from?
To illustrate this point, the researchers randomly selected 22 fecal samples from four European countries (Denmark, France, Italy and Spain) and sequenced their DNA. It turns out that whether you are a girl or an old man, whether you are a vegetarian or a carnivore, everyone's intestinal type is nothing more than one of these three. In order to further verify the research results, scientists expanded the experimental samples to 249 individuals in Denmark and the United States, and the results also confirmed the above views.
Moreover, the results also show that these three intestinal types are evenly distributed regardless of nationality or race. This shows that intestinal type, like blood type, has nothing to do with age, sex, race and other factors.
So, how does this difference in intestinal bacteria occur in people? At present, although there is no definite answer to this question, scientists have several speculations about it.
Some scholars believe that metabolism determines which bacteria can live in human intestines. Because food will be digested and absorbed after entering the intestine, there are also some wastes that need to be discharged, such as hydrogen produced during food digestion. The chemical route of excreting waste may determine what kind of bacteria are mainly in a person's intestines.
Some scholars believe that what kind of bacterial environment a person is exposed to after birth basically determines what kind of bacteria he will have in his intestines, thus determining what kind of intestines he is.
Of course, the bacteria in the intestine may also be related to the food that people eat for a long time. Although it is found that these three types of intestinal bacteria are evenly distributed among people with different eating habits, the researchers speculate that some elements in eating habits should still play a more or less "fueling" role.
Use "outsiders"
So, what's the point of knowing which intestinal bacteria you have?
Let's see what these "insignificant" intestinal flora usually do for us.
Besides the well-known digestion of food, intestinal bacteria also play an important role in human immune system and metabolism. For example, they can stimulate the immune system to be active, effectively fight against external invaders, and at the same time control those bacteria that are easy to induce diseases within the controllable range; There are also some bacteria that can release chemicals that control appetite and convert energy between liver and muscle, which is why intestinal flora may play a role in fat accumulation.
If one day, the composition of intestinal bacteria changes or is unbalanced, it is likely to cause various infectious diseases or serious metabolic problems, such as obesity and diabetes.
In addition to these * * * characteristics, different types of intestinal bacteria also have many exclusive "personalities". Therefore, some intestinal types have many specific advantages and functions, which makes some biochemical processes easier in one intestinal type than the other two. For example, the decomposition of complex carbohydrates is the basic task of all intestinal bacteria. Obviously, this work is the easiest and most effective for Bacteroides enterobacteroides.
Therefore, knowing our intestinal types and paying attention to the busy flora in our body every day can really save us a lot of trouble. Especially for people with the potential threat of "three highs", the type of intestine is likely to be a crucial influencing factor.
Therefore, we might as well start with our own intestinal types and try to tailor our diet plan. At least, it makes people use nutrients more efficiently and avoid obesity as much as possible. Perhaps in the near future, doctors will also consider intestinal types when making treatment plans.
In this way, in addition to asking about the history of drug allergy, they will also ask-what is your intestinal type?
