What is a star official?

The ancients usually divided the stars into several star groups, called star officials, similar to the constellations now. Every star official has a different star, ranging from one to dozens. According to their shapes, they are given the names of similar objects, such as "pestle" three stars and "mortar" four stars, which are very similar to the real thing.
