How to calculate the score of CET-4?

The total score of Band 4 is 7 10/0,425, and writing accounts for 15% of the total score. Listening comprehension accounts for 35% of the total score.

Reading comprehension: choose words to fill in the blanks, read long and read carefully, accounting for 35% of the total score. Translation accounts for 0/5% of the total score/kloc-.

The content of CET-4 includes five parts: listening comprehension, reading comprehension, word usage and grammatical structure, cloze and essay writing. All the topics are numbered in sequence.

The first part: Listening comprehension, with a total of 20 questions, the examination time is 20 minutes.

Part II: Reading comprehension, with a total of 20 questions, the examination time is 35 minutes.

The third part: Word usage and grammatical structure, with a total of 30 questions and an examination time of 20 minutes.

The fourth part: cloze, a total of 20 questions, examination time 15 minutes.

Part V: Writing, with a total of 1 topic, and the examination time is 30 minutes.

Significance of CET-4

The purpose of CET-4 is to promote the implementation of college English syllabus, objectively and accurately measure college students' English ability, and serve to improve the teaching quality of college English courses in China. The Ministry of Education entrusts the National College English Test Committee for CET-4 and CET-6 to design, organize, manage and implement CET-4 and CET-6.

CET-4 is a national English test sponsored by the Higher Education Department of the Ministry of Education. The main target of the examination is college students, undergraduates or graduate students who have completed CET-4 according to the educational syllabus.
