Early experience

1April, 1989 18, Jessica was born in a sports family in San Francisco, California, USA. His father is a boxer and his mother is a gymnast. Jessica grew up in San Francisco as a child. Since childhood, parents have given Jessica enough American education and environment so that she can speak fluent English easily. Before being selected as an intern by SM Entertainment Co., Ltd. of Korea, she studied in a local primary and secondary school in San Francisco. After being selected as an intern, she went to Korea and transferred to Seoul Kent Foreign Language School to continue her high school studies.

In February 2000, Jessica, who was only 12 years old, went to Korea to visit her relatives with her family. While shopping in the shopping plaza of Lotte Department Store, I was accidentally discovered by nearby SM Entertainment Company.

After seven years and six months of intensive training, Jessica made her debut as a women's team on August 5, 2007.
