The story of the stargate

1. Stargate:

The stargate is a ring-shaped device built by the ancients, which can instantly transport matter from one point in the universe to another. When a door device dials another door (just like telephone dialing), a wormhole will be created between the two doors. Each gate address consists of six symbols representing the constellation of the universe and the seventh symbol representing the galaxy where the gate is located. Therefore, the address of each door is unique. The gate system has 39 symbols, and each symbol represents a unique point in the universe. The position of the gate can be accurately locked by seven symbols, and the gate can be connected by dialing (if the gate in that position works normally).

2. Nakwada:

The stargate device itself is made of a kind of siliceous metal (Naquadah) that is not found on the earth. In the movie Stargate, Naquadah metal was first discovered on the planet Abedos. This metal can attract and activate neutrinos. Somehow, when neutrinos are activated, they will create a stable artificial wormhole in the form of a stargate, which will not react with other substances, including radiation, particle bombardment, fire and so on. The dialing device of the gate looks like an inclined surface with 39 different symbols on it. When you dial seven correct symbols (like a password lock), the connection between the gate and a place will be activated. These passwords (addresses) were originally set by the manufacturer of the gate to accurately describe the positions of points in the three-dimensional universe. The last of the seven symbols is usually the location of the address gate.

3. Hong Men:

According to Daniel Jackson's records on Abydos and his research on the history of ancient Egypt, the US Air Force knows that if the gate is covered with heavy and solid materials, it will prevent anyone or equipment from passing through the gate. Therefore, the U.S. Air Force specially made a sturdy but fast-expanding rainbow door for the stargate. Hong Men is very close to the gate (less than 10 mm from the facade), which can effectively prevent any equipment from reaching the gate through the wormhole. So it can prevent anyone from entering the wormhole without permission. If someone comes to the earth through a wormhole regardless of the closure of the rainbow gate, his body molecules will have no chance to recombine (which will mean death).

Team SG reports in front of the door with a small device that can emit special radio signals (radio waves can pass through the rainbow gate). This device is called GDO. When the correct signal is transmitted through the wormhole (using GDO), he will be able to pass through the gate safely. When he passed the gate, the rainbow door closed quickly.

4. Stargate travel:

Stargate travel is one-way. When a person reaches the other side through a wormhole, he can't go back into the wormhole. If he wants to come back, he must wait until the wormhole is closed and restart the gate. There is only one thing that can be transmitted in both directions in the same wormhole: radio waves (such as the signal from the MALP detector). SG is the abbreviation of Stargate program, and the numbers behind it are used to distinguish different teams. Some teams perform special tasks. Here are several teams with different tasks:

Task force:

SG- 1: Main Team of Explorer Unit

SG-2: Research and Research Unit

SG-3: Marine Corps Combat Unit

SG-4: Tactical Action Tactical Team

SG-5: Strategic Strategic Combat Force.

SG-6: Search and Rescue Team

SG-7: Scientific Research Team

SG-8: Exploration Expedition

SG-9: Diplomatic Corps

SG- 10: Intelligence Information Combat Unit (Stargate: SG- 1 Season 2, Episode 16, "Swallowed by a Black Hole in Time Relativity")

SG- 1 1: CoverOps Engineering Team

SG- 12: Medical Action Medical Unit

SG- 13: Night Action Night Team

SG- 15: The full name of the support team MALP is Mobile Analytic Laboratory Probe, which is used to explore the geographical and security conditions of unknown planets and confirm whether it is suitable for human beings to enter.

The full name of DHD is dial-up home device: dial-up device, which is used to activate the gate. GDO is a garage door opener: a device that sends a radio signal through a wormhole to inform SGC to open the rainbow door.

Fred is a remote expedition equipment in the wild: a small six-wheeled vehicle. You can bring supplies into the wormhole. It can adapt to most terrain conditions.

TER is a cross-phase eradication rod: a detection device. We can find targets outside of human vision and 180 degree spectrum. Can be used to detect some kind of invisible alien. 1.IOA:

SGC, or the Stargate Project, always has its supervisory unit. SG- 1 From the first quarter to the seventh quarter, it is NID (National Intelligence Division). In SG- 1 Season 6, Episode 17, Disclosure, the Stargate is planned to be made public to five permanent members, and then gradually to more countries. In SG- 1 Season 7, Episode 22, Lost City, you can see a multinational joint expedition to Atlantis. Informed countries signed an agreement called "Portal Alliance Treaty", and at the same time, all informed countries sent representatives to set up IOA (International Investigation and Consulting Organization). The founding countries of the organization are five permanent members-China, the United States, France, Russia and Britain, aiming at supervising the Stargate project, sharing technology, providing financial support and so on.

2. Wormhole:

Wormholes are the way stargates work. When dialing from one gate to another, an artificial wormhole will be established between the two gates. With this wormhole, objects can travel faster than light, which is only relative. In fact, wormholes only set a shortcut to two points in space, just like folding a blank sheet of paper when connecting the nearest two points on two diagonal lines. If the wormhole connection disappears when transmitting an object, the energy of the object will be released to any point around the target gate. But then the object will be transformed into elementary particles, not the original form.

3. System owner:

System lords are the highest realm that the Goa people can reach, and they have the deterrent power of the whole galaxy. Among them, some have maintained their dominant position for thousands of years, some have been defeated and replaced by others. Some people, including Anubis and Nirli, were exiled for committing crimes against other system lords. It is difficult to be a system master. A Goa must first have a strong enough army, and then get the support of other system lords before it can be confirmed. The system lords held a summit in a space station in Hasala, and no one was allowed to carry weapons. The space station is surrounded by mines and will take the initiative to attack the first fleet that fires.

Although system lords usually destroy any civilization that is hostile to them, they sometimes sign agreements with other civilizations, and the Protected Planet Treaty is one of them. This treaty was signed between Asgard and them. According to the treaty, the system Lord cannot attack any planet in the galaxy listed in the treaty. The earth joined the treaty after the three-line lords summit held by SGC.

But under the leadership of SGC, the earth has killed more system owners than in the past thousand years. However, this is not entirely a good thing, because killing a system Lord will lead to more powerful goa' uld replacing them.

4.SGC stargate command center:

SGC is the command center of Cheyenne Mountain and is responsible for using the stargate. It was established after the second Abydos operation. At first, it was in the charge of General Hammond. At first, it had only nine expeditions.

So far, SGC has been shut down once by Senator Kinsey, the then committee leader, and restarted after the earth narrowly escaped an attack. General Hammond commanded SGC for nearly seven years and once resigned temporarily because of blackmail. General Bauer was in charge of SGC. However, after President Hayes was elected, he temporarily closed it to review SGC. He transferred General Hammond to Washington, D.C., and appointed Dr. Elizabeth Weil to be in charge of SGC.

5. Pegasus galaxy:

Pegasus galaxy is a dwarf galaxy, belonging to the Milky Way. This is the last galaxy where the ancients planted the seeds of life. In this galaxy, there are terrible Waith races and countless almost desperate human combinations.

6.NID:

NID is a government department in the United States, which provides people with supervision over military plans. The staff of NID includes civilian and military personnel. The projects they are responsible for include the management of the 5 1 area and the overall supervision of the stargate project. However, NID is a notorious organization. Many arrogant agents in it will do whatever it takes to acquire alien technology. Although some people have lofty goals, others do not. Colonel Mayborn and Colonel Simmons are typical examples. They are stealing technology for an organization called Commitee and profiting from its sales. At the same time, they also report their own purposes. Even the officially authorized NID is not completely moral. In order to acquire the technology of the Goa people, they once controlled the whole town. After eliminating the power of Commitee, most unqualified members were cleared up, but those people were not idle. ...

7.Neutronium:

Neutronium is the key substance in Asgard technology and necessary for manufacturing humanoid replicators. In Halla, Asgard used solid Neutronium as the shell of the time machine, but Replicator made the first one with this shell and used it to shut down the time machine. Later, Asgard chose Orilla as their home, because there are many Neutronium there.
