Flying horse generally refers to flying horse.

Pegasus is one of the northern constellations, located in the southwest of Andromeda and north of Aquarius. The most striking feature of Pegasus's star map is that its three stars α, β and γ form an almost square shape with Andromeda's α star, which is called "autumn quadrangle".

These four stars are all second-class stars except γ star, so this quadrilateral is very eye-catching in the autumn sky with few bright stars. The trapezium of Pegasus is the brightest star in the northern sky in autumn.

The myth and legend of flying horse

In Greek mythology, after Poerxiusi killed Medusa, a flying horse jumped out of Medusa's neck.

This winged god horse immediately flew into the sky, and later it landed on Mount Herikon, where it created a spiritual spring, which later became the source of inspiration for poets. Pegasus is the pet of the Muse.

Apollo invited Athena to help tame the horse, and later gave it to Bellerophon to ride it. During a trip, Pegasus killed Belle Luofeng, continued his journey alone, and finally reached heaven and became a constellation.
