In the silver-gray dome observation room, a 40-cm binoculars points to Pisces through the open skylight to explore the mysteries of the universe. When the negative taken by Pisces was developed, astronomers found a moving short star image on the starry sky negative, which was a new asteroid. 200165438+February 2 1. Approved by the International Asteroid Center and the International Asteroid Nomenclature Committee, the Purple Mountain Observatory of China Academy of Sciences named the asteroid with the international number of 3763, which was discovered on June1980+June 14, as "Qian Xuesen Star". In recognition of the outstanding contributions made by this outstanding hero with two bombs and one satellite to China's scientific and technological undertakings.
