Li Wanhua (1924-2 1, February 2004), the original wife of Stanley Ho, the gambling king, was born in a prominent lawyer's family in Macau in 1924 and married Stanley Ho in 1942.

Li Wanhua died peacefully in his Hong Kong apartment on February 2 1 2004 at the age of 80. On the afternoon of February 25th, a commemorative ceremony was held in Macao. At 8: 00 am on February 25th, the flag of the Macao SAR was flown at half mast.
