Record of Speech at Luojia Forum

20081October 29th,1kloc-0/5438 is the anniversary of the founding of Wuda University. On the evening of 19: 00, Li Deren, an academician of the two academies, gave a lecture on "On the Popular Service of Geospatial Information", which kicked off the Luojia Forum of Wuhan University.

In April 2009, Xu Guanhua, an academician of China Academy of Sciences, gave a keynote speech on global warming.

The fourth lecture

In May 2009, Professor Zhu Shi Jason Wu, President of Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Academician of American Academy of Sciences, American Academy of Humanities, Academician of China Academy of Sciences, Academician of Taiwan Academia Sinica, Academician of Developing Countries, Academician of Russian Institute of Technology) came to Hong Kong to give lectures. Topic: "Journey of Exploration: Looking for HTSS from Houston to Developing HKUST in Hong Kong".

The fifth lecture

On May 24th, 2009, Zhu Qingshi, former president of University of Science and Technology of China and academician of China Academy of Sciences, gave a lecture on "How to Cultivate Innovative Ability".

This paper describes three elements of innovation ability: curiosity, imagination and insight, as well as the bottleneck of academic innovation in China and some solutions. And gave a wonderful answer to the students' questions.

On September 9th, 2009, 19: 00 in Sakura Old Library, Cheng Jinpei, former vice minister of science and technology and academician of China Academy of Sciences, gave a lecture entitled "Financial Crisis and Several Important Issues of Current National Innovation Strategy".

On June 24th, 2009, Li Xueqin, a famous historian, director of Tsinghua University Unearthed Literature Research and Protection Center and chief scientist of the National Xia, Shang and Zhou Dynasties Dating Project, gave a lecture on the origin and development of "Tsinghua Bamboo Slips".
