Chapter 5 on the Book of Changes: How to avoid misfortune?

? Last night, I finished reading the fifth chapter of Ceng Shiqiang's Book of Changes. Although there are only a few hundred words, the truth is profound.

First, all good and bad luck are transformed by inner changes.

Second, according to conscience, the public interest is higher than others.

Third, besides good luck and regret, is there any blame?

First, each of us has the nature to hope that we can make money and avoid disasters, but the so-called good luck is always changing. In the Book of Changes, good luck refers to gain and loss, and gain is good luck and loss is bad luck. And good luck is accompanied by our secular desires, just like Wang Yangming's heart beating outward. As long as the heart is calm, even if the outside world fluctuates, it is like a calm lake, as if people don't know what they are blessed with.

Second, do things according to your conscience and then avoid misfortune.

When we don't act, we are rational and public welfare, but once we start to act, we will have desires and emotions, so that the whole person's actions will be deformed, and emotions and rationality will not match, which is equivalent to being very irrational. Our recent epidemic events can be seen, and some people are like this. The most important thing is that conscience is consistent with behavior. Most people know that conscience is important when they don't act, but they forget it when they act. This is what I want to remind myself.

Third, besides good luck and regret, is there any blame?

There is an old saying that blessings are interdependent, and sometimes blessings can be transformed into each other. One yin and one yang is called Tao, which is good no matter what, and there is no relative evil. There is no evil in the world, but sometimes we call it evil if we don't like it. The existence of good and evil in the world is the result of entanglement between people.

If a person knows that he has made a mistake, it is remorse to correct and do good in his heart. If he just says he wants to correct it, but he wants to find a reason to shirk it in his heart, it is despicable. Usually the result is that regret is good luck and regret is bad luck. (Why do you say that you did something wrong, and you say that you regret it but don't correct it? Subsequent mistakes are inevitable and regular. )

After understanding, I have some insights:

1. There is no distinction between good and evil in the world. It is only because each of us has a standard of good and evil that there is good and evil. Good and evil brought by good and evil can be transformed and avoided. For example, doing things according to conscience and integrating knowledge with practice will naturally not bring great harm.

2. Make sense of things, not right or wrong.

3. Inner changes will lead to good or bad changes, which need to be honed slowly to keep inner peace and calmness.
