What the hell is Zhouyi talking about?

Speaking of Zhouyi, I think many people, like me, just know that there is such a wonderful book that has been circulated for thousands of years and contains many profound philosophical thoughts. Many fortune tellers and fortune tellers regard it as a standard book, which casts a mysterious color on it. Everything in Zhouyi is clear, mainly about gossip. Many people may not be very clear about what gossip is, and their understanding of gossip may simply stay in front of them and have seen strange symbols on it. In the TV series "Ghost Blows Lights in Longling Cave", Chen Man, a blind man, calculated a divination for Hu Bayi and his party. Hu Bayi determined his position according to the divination and escaped from the predicament. In Li's tomb, he escaped safely from the tomb according to the technique of dividing gold and locating points. Of course, the basis of dividing gold into points and fixing acupoints is gossip, yin and yang, five elements and so on, and all this knowledge comes from Zhouyi, a book regarded as the most precious by Confucius. What this ancient book has been circulating for thousands of years has aroused my great interest.

Zhouyi, the oldest divination book handed down from ancient times to Shang Dynasty, was formed in Zhou Dynasty, and it contains extremely rich wisdom. The content includes sixty-four hexagrams overlapped by eight diagrams, and each hexagram has six hexagrams (hexagrams) from bottom to top, which are called the beginning, the second, the third, the fourth, the fifth and the last. The hexagrams are divided into two types: yin and yang, and the yin is represented by six. Yang Yao is represented by nine. In addition, the corresponding interpretation of hexagrams is called hexagrams. After the emergence of Yijing, from the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period to the Han Dynasty, there appeared some articles specifically explaining Yijing and hexagrams. Among them, there are seven kinds of * * * ten articles, which are called Yijing and Yijing Interpretation, also known as "Ten Wings" Later generations also called Yijing and Yijing Zhouyi. "Ten Wings" refers to the upper and lower chapters of Xun, Xiang, cohesion, classical Chinese, divination, virtual divination and miscellaneous divination.

You may often hear a sentence in TV series: "Tai Chi gives birth to two instruments, two instruments give birth to four images, and four images give birth to eight diagrams", which originated from the Book of Changes. What does the whole sentence mean? Let me explain some important concepts in the sentence first. Taiji, also known as "Taiyi" and "Dayi", means supreme, so it is considered as the origin of all things in the world. These two instruments contain many concepts and meanings. In the Book of Changes, they refer to heaven and earth, which have been extended by Yi-ology scholars in past dynasties, including Yin and Yang, parity, rigidity and softness, Huang Xuan and so on. Generally refers to things that are opposite to each other in the world. However, in Zhouyi, in most cases, it refers to yin and yang, and the symbols of both vessels are hexagrams, which are graphically represented as "-"for yang and ""for yin. These four images represent spring, summer, autumn and winter. Of course, the four images, like the two instruments, also have various meanings, and also refer to the four directions of southeast, northwest and northwest. It is necessary to determine what it looks like according to the specific hexagrams. Gossip, which may be familiar to everyone, is a set of symbols created and invented by Fu. Every three hexagons are a group, and the combination of yang hexagons and yin hexagons forms eight forms, which are called eight diagrams. Eight diagrams can be divided into dry divination, Kun divination, shock divination, partial divination, Kan divination, gen divination, exchange divination and Kun divination. Each hexagram represents a specific thing, the dry hexagram represents the sky, the Kun hexagram represents the land, the Kan hexagram represents the water, the parting hexagram represents the fire, the shaking hexagram represents the thunder, the Gen hexagram represents the mountain, the Kun hexagram represents the point, and the exchange hexagram represents the swamp. Here is a gossip song, which can help you remember the gossip symbols better. "Dry three links, Kun six breaks, shake the jar, cover the bowl, leave the middle empty, the ridge is full, change the vacancy, and break the bottom." "(need illustrations). The meaning is also easy to understand. Gansanlian is a triple-layered yang, and Kunliuduan is a triple-layered yin. Shake the jar. The bottoms of the upper two are like a basin being placed. There is a yang on the top, and the lower two are yin, like.

The whole Book of Changes is based on eight diagrams, which are paired together to form a complete divinatory image. Eight times eight is sixty-four hexagrams. Among them, the eight diagrams formed by self-weight are still the same in original name. For example, the divination made up of two dry divinations is still called dry divination, and other divinations made up of different divinations have other names. The whole content of the Book of Changes is in this all-encompassing sixty-four hexagrams. The positional relationship between hexagrams will have an important corresponding relationship, including bearing, multiplying, comparing and responding.

Cheng: There are two main situations of "Cheng": in divination, the yin is above the yang, so this yin is the yang, which is called "Cheng". Take tourism hexagrams as an example. In hexagrams, yin is lower than yang, and six or five hexagrams are higher than nine hexagrams. The ancients called it "five stubborn", so "the line is small and soft, soft and smooth." Second; In a six-hexagram, one yang hexagram is above and several yin hexagrams are below, so the lower yin hexagram can be called "inheritance" of the upper yang hexagram. Take Gangua as an example. The sixth day and the second day of yin are both below the ninth day of yang, so the sixth day and the second day are both called the "orientation" of the ninth day, that is, the first three and the last three. Therefore, the elephant said, "All people obey the master." Inheritance also conforms to the law of development of things, from bottom to top, from weak to strong.

Multiplication: if the superior is superior to the subordinate, it is "multiplication", that is, the superior is superior to the superior and the subordinate is superior to the superior, which symbolizes that the villain is superior to the superior and is unlucky. It is not difficult to find that "inheritance" and "multiplication" are opposites. Inheritance is auspicious and multiplication is unlucky. Let me add one more sentence here. In the Book of Changes, the word "Ji" appears many times. This does not mean auspiciousness, but a trend that conforms to the development law of things.

Comparison: Two hexagrams are called "comparison" side by side, such as the first and second comparison, the second and third comparison, the third and fourth comparison, the fourth and fifth comparison, and the fifth and last comparison. The relationship between the two hexagrams often has the relationship of "bearing" or "multiplying".

Ying: the upper and lower six hexagons are sympathetic to each other, which is called Ying, that is, one, four, two, five and three. If the corresponding meridians are yin and yang, they can be sympathetic, which is called "ying"; If the corresponding meridians are both yang and yin, they cannot be sympathetic, which is called "no response" It's the same as what we often say: opposites attract and same sex repel.
