Do you agree that Zhouyi is the source of The Analects of Confucius?

Speaking of Zhouyi and Analects of Confucius, we can say that these two masterpieces are the origins of China's philosophical civilization. The Analects of Confucius is the way for Confucius, the founder of Confucianism, to deal with people, and the Book of Changes is the way to influence Confucius' behavior. Zhouyi is the first book with philosophical thoughts in ancient China. Even now, there are still many people who advocate Zhouyi and study the law and morality of heaven and man in Zhouyi. At first, Confucius was not interested in the divination theory in the Book of Changes, but after Confucius dug deep into the wisdom of benevolence, righteousness and propriety in the Book of Changes, he admired the Book of Changes and was influenced by the theory of the Book of Changes everywhere in his daily life.

1. Zhouyi is profound and contains natural laws. Because ancient people worshipped gods, they attached great importance to sacrificial activities. There was no written document for reference at that time. With the development of society, Zhouyi came into being and became the basis of people's divination activities. The Book of Changes not only summarizes a series of customary laws about divination, but also summarizes the theory about the relationship between heaven and man. If someone can understand the Zhouyi thoroughly, it will benefit a lot and benefit for life.

Second, Confucius advocated Zhouyi, and The Analects of Confucius was the concrete expression of Zhouyi's thought, which was manifested in the period when a hundred schools of thought contended. Because the benevolence of great love contained in Confucianism has been unanimously recognized by people, people are scrambling to learn Confucian ideology and culture. After Confucius discovered the profundity of Zhouyi, he began to study it deeply and taught his disciples the benevolence, righteousness and morality contained in Zhouyi, so that Confucian culture was more popular. When Confucius studied Zhouyi, he combined Xia and Shang culture and got a distinctive and unique Confucian moral view. Through the practice of Confucius, these benevolence, righteousness and morality were written into The Analects by his disciples, which influenced later generations.

Without enough social experience and solid literary accomplishment, it is difficult to understand the essence of truth contained in Zhouyi. The four images of five lines of gossip and bad luck contained in Zhouyi are very obscure to ordinary people. But after Confucius realized the truth, his actions and remarks were easy to understand, even for primary and middle school students with low educational level. Therefore, I very much agree that Zhouyi is the source of The Analects.
