What's Zhuang's surname?

2. Origin

(1) from the surname, from the blue banner of Han army officials during the Shunzhi period of the Qing Dynasty, belonging to the refuge surname. The ancestor of this Zhuang nationality was the blue flag officer of the Manchu Han army. During the Shunzhi period of the Qing Dynasty, he entered the customs from the dragon and lived in Beijing, in the middle. Later, he was sentenced to death for "colluding with bandits" and violating the laws of the Qing Dynasty. During the execution, Zhuang's ancestors were rescued by several Jianghu heroes. After fleeing from Beijing, they dared not stop and went straight to the customs. Desperate, with nowhere to live, he had to change his surname to Tibetan name and settle in Tianshui Village, Fengtian (now Liaoyang, Liaoning). Because he escaped from the imperial court to get a chance to live, he changed his surname to Chinese characters, and his single surname was "Chuang", so the Chuang family was born.

(2) It originated from Manchu, one of the "Liang Sigong" in the Southern Dynasties, and was named after his ancestors. Liang Sigong was one of the four famous fortune tellers during the reign of Liang Wudi and Xiao Yan in the Southern Dynasties. They are Seven Beds, Xi Street, Bran Stork and Kidney, among which Seven Beds, also known as Gong Chuang, were respected by people during the Qi and Liang Dynasties. In the second year of Zhongxing in Xiao Baojuan in the Southern Dynasty (AD 502), Fu Xiaoyan killed Qi Donghuan Hou and made Xiao Baorong, the younger brother of Qi Donghuan Hou, the Emperor of Qi. Soon, he forced the Emperor of Qi to abdicate and established the State of Liang, named Liang Wudi, on his behalf.

Among the descendants of Chuang Chuang (Gong Chuang), many people take their ancestors' names as surnames and pass them on from generation to generation.
