Ancient divination books. One of the Confucian classics, the Five Classics, is said to have been written by Zhou people, hence its name. "Yi" has three meanings: variability (poor research on the change of things), simplicity (simple refutation of complexity) and difficulty (eternity). The content includes two parts: classics and biography, in which classics include 64 hexagrams and 384 hexagrams, which are composed of eight diagrams, such as Ganzhi, Kunzhi, Zhenzhi, Lizhi, Xunzhi, Huizhi, Kanzhi and Genzhi. Each hexagram has a hexagram shape, a hexagram name, a hexagram character and six hexagrams, and each hexagram has a title first and then a character. Gua Ci and Yi Ci are mostly abstract conceptual explanations made by the ancients according to their life experience, which are used to predict and point out people's bad luck. Biography contains seven languages * * * and ten explanations of hexagrams, which are called "Ten Wings". The book speculates on the changes of nature and society through gossip, thinks that everything is produced by the interaction of yin and yang, and puts forward simple and dialectical views such as "combining rigidity with softness".
