Excerpt from Ceng Shiqiang's lecture on Yijing 04.

1. Fuxi looks up at astronomy, down at geography, and down at the world, and assigns gossip positions according to the terrain. Gossip tells us that the most important thing in life is positioning. The so-called positioning is to do three things: know what you should do, how to keep your position and keep your score, and constantly improve.

2. Human nature is born naturally, not formed by acquired education. The responsibility of mankind is to make the universe evolve more and more. There are yin and yang in the sky, rigidity and softness in the earth, and benevolence and righteousness in people. "Yi has three meanings": Heaven is easy, people are easy, and land is not easy.

3. China culture is just two words: education. Everything in the world is judged by nature. Nature is right and unnatural is wrong; Nature is good, unnatural is bad; Conforming to nature is good, but not conforming to nature is evil.

4. People who have a little knowledge of the Book of Changes like to use it to tell fortune, which casts a superstitious color on the Book of Changes, which originally originated from nature. Confucius said, "Don't take it."

5. Confucius said, "Listen in the morning and die at night." "Chao" here does not mean morning, "Chao" and "Xi" are opposites, which constitutes yin and yang. It means that when you understand the truth at this time, you will find many mistakes in the past, and then you will "die yesterday" and start over.
