What does Taoism mean?

"Taoist" is the common name of female Taoist. In orthodox Taoism, there is no such title. The difference between Taoist priests and nuns

1、? Taoists and nuns belong to different religions. Taoism is a native religion in China. It's disrespectful to call a Taoist female monk directly, so it's generally called Kundao. Female monks are called nuns or nuns. Female monks are usually called teachers.

2. The costumes of Taoist priests and nuns are also different. Taoist priests wear robes, mainly blue and black. It is recorded in Daming Hui Dian that Taoist priests all wear green clothes. A nun wears a robe, mainly gray, which is called Christina, also known as Ziyi. In A Dream of Red Mansions, when Xi Chun became a monk, he mentioned a poem: The scenery in the third spring did not last long, and the clothes were changed for the makeup the year before.
