Hangzhou Huanglong cave

I lived less than 2 kilometers away from Huanglong Cave for two years, but I didn't know that Huanglong Cave was originally without holes.

That afternoon, I rode my bike on Shuguang Road, passing by Zhejiang University, passing by Zhejiang Library and passing by Huanglong Sports Center. On a whim, I decided to visit Huanglong Cave, a landmark building here.

In less than ten minutes, I arrived at 69 Shuguang Road.

I didn't see the imaginary big hole, but I saw a stone archway facing Shuguang Road. The stone couplet on the memorial archway reads: "There is no door, the shakuhachi flute, the Yong 'an courtyard, and the scenic spot is vaguely looking for old dreams;" Folk gardens, local operas, Changle Pavilion, and the new fashion of beautiful words ",and the plaque reads" Huanglong Cui Tu ".

Passing the archway, there are two rows of tall buttonwood trees on both sides of the road. Their thick, long branches stretch out into the sky at will, and the wide pentagonal leaves on the branches are crowded into a narrow and noisy pile, as if to compete with the sun overhead. But the sun is very calm, not anxious or annoyed, smiling and projecting the leaves of the buttonwood tree from a height to the ground, forming a colorful and wonderful picture.

Going deeper into the road, the pavilions on both sides gradually increased. Right in front of a big stone shaded by green trees, there is a big word engraved-"Yuan".

I studied this scarlet Chinese character carefully, and saw that it was beaming, carefree and elegant, and it looked as if it were going to fly while flying!

"Fate" is a beautiful and mysterious word! Fate, marriage, opportunity, fate ... casual encounter, fate in the dark, accident in life, coincidence in fate ... many beautiful things are caused by it!

I thought aimlessly and almost hit a board in front of me. Looking up, I saw a black board standing in front of a double-eaves mountain, engraved with four gold-plated characters: "Seek fate and win."

The couplets on both sides of the mountain gate wrote: "Huang Ze is endless, and Laozi still exists."

It turns out that this Huanglong Cave is the Temple of the King Protector in Hangzhou. Since the Southern Song Dynasty, it has been one of the five dragon gods in the West Lake. In the late Qing dynasty, it was changed to Taoist temple, which became one of the "three Taoist temples of West Lake" in the late Qing dynasty.

Most temples in Hangzhou are built between mountains and forests, so a mountain gate is usually built in front of the temple.

I thought: maybe there will be a big cave inside the mountain gate.

Entering the mountain gate, there is a small pool on the left. In the middle of the pool, Liu Haizheng teased a toad with great interest.

Liu Hai plays a toad, which comes from Taoist allusions. Some people say that Liu Hai is from Happy Valley in Gu Quan, Huxian County, Shaanxi Province. When I was a teenager, I went up the mountain to collect firewood. He saw a three-legged toad injured by the roadside, so he quickly bandaged the wound and treated the toad. Toad became a beautiful girl, married Liu Hai and had children.

The wife of Liu Hai not only has fairy-like beauty, but also can spit out money and ingots from her mouth. I don't know what virtue this elder Liu Hai has accumulated, but such a good thing happened to her!

It is also said that Toad was originally the daughter of the Dragon King of the South China Sea, and her name was Guqiao. She took advantage of the Dragon King's absence, turned into a golden toad and jumped out of the Bailongtan of Taohuaxi. When I was swimming, I was stared at by an evil boa constrictor. In do or die, Liu Hai, who was chopping wood under the Peach Blossom Peak, saved the little toad. This time, Guqiao and Liu Hai admired each other, and they finally became Qin Jin's good friends. The ancient bridge also presented a dragon ball to Liu Hai!

The three-legged toad is also the daughter of the South China Sea Dragon King. In short, this bangs is lucky! No wonder some people say that two-legged people are easy to find, but three-legged toads are hard to find!

It suddenly occurred to me that a few years ago, I went to my good friend's house and saw a stone toad in a quiet and safe place in a romantic and warm boudoir. That guy is rugged and ugly as hell. My friend thought I was interested in that scary animal and smiled and said to me, "That's my baby. Suck money to ward off evil spirits, right? "

Thought of here, I bound to laugh!

In the small stone gate on the right, there is a small yard, and there is also a pool in the yard, which is called the "congenial pool". In the middle of the pool, there are six chubby boys sitting on a big stone board with lotus leaves. The boys wore only a small Chinese-style chest covering and formed a circle around them. * * * The same end carries five ancient stone coins.

These six boys represent six kinds of fate: financial fate, love fate, marriage fate, literature fate, official fate and children fate. The bun on the heads of the six boys is different, and I think there must be something to say.

There are seven stone piers beside the pool, six of which are engraved with the words "wealth, affection, marriage, literature, official position and son" respectively; There is also a stone pier without words, which represents other sides except the above six sides.

The square hole in the center of ancient copper coins is the "casting hole". People can choose their orientation according to their own wishes, meditate in their mouths and hit them with coins. One in three is lucky.

Three ladies are throwing counterfeit money with real money, shouting and having fun. The man on the side is waiting with his arms crossed and doing nothing. He looks impatient!

Coin toss is a simple activity, but it has a long history! But the ancients did not call it "coin toss", but "pot toss".

It is said that during the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period, the princes treated guests at home and used the game of "throwing pots" to increase the fun: put a pot in front of them and throw it from a distance with an arrow. You have to throw it completely, and the loser will be punished for drinking. At first it was archery, but later it was inconvenient, so it was changed to archery. Ouyang Xiu said in "Drunken Pavilion": "... but the pheasant is the predecessor and the satrap. The joy of a feast is not silk or bamboo. Among the shooters, the player wins, and everyone who sits up is happy. " At the satrap banquet here, we played the game of "throwing pots"; The "shot" in it is an arrow.

Next door to the "casting pool" is also a yard, but it is a theater called "Jubilee Garden".

This is an antique quadrangle, surrounded by quaint small buildings such as Qingyinxuan, Xingyunlou, Yihe Pavilion, Qiheqi and Wenyuan Pavilion, which are connected by homogeneous wooden stairs and corridors. The yard was decorated with lights and colorful lights, beaming.

The big stage facing the courtyard gate is modeled after Jiangnan Pear Garden. Many uniformed workers are busy adding stools under the stage. It seems that Huanglongyue Troupe is going to stage butterfly lovers or Tang Bohu's Chou-heung again.

Out of the jubilee garden, back to the main road, go straight and see the second door.

Step into the second door, and on the left is Fangzhu Garden.

The bronze statue of "Huanglong boy" in the garden is quite eye-catching. The boys in the circle look like two lying down, but from the side, they look like two squatting; In this way, four boys appeared in the statue. These four boys symbolize the prosperity and healthy growth of the descendants of the dragon. All four boys put their hands together, and their humility and piety are very vivid!

It is said that touching the boy's ass is effective for children, and the boy's ass is bare and shiny.

Looking at the boy's statue, I remembered an old saying, a river has two sides, and everything has two sides. God closed a door for you and opened a window for you. Sometimes, looking at the problem from another angle, life will show a different beauty. Perhaps, there is no shortage of beauty in life, but the lack of courage, exploration and discovery.

There are many bamboos in the square bamboo garden.

The spots on the leaves of Bambusa bambusa are the tears of sadness and yearning shed by two concubines, E Huang and Nv Ying, who are separated from Shun Di by Yin and Yang. -"A Thousand Tears of Bambusa", that's right!

The purple bamboo pole is very tall. Those bright green bamboo poles are still covered with fluff and white powder, while the bamboo poles of those big bamboos have all turned purple-black, and their heads are almost ten meters high.

The bamboo poles of piano, silk and bamboo are yellow and green. In addition to ordinary bamboo leaves, there are long filaments on the branches. When the breeze blows, the bamboo filaments dance with the wind, like rhythmic strings. That gesture is really elegant and charming!

The thin bamboo pole of Eichhornia crassipes has a big crown. From a distance, it is really not like bamboo, but like a shrub tree; A closer look shows that the dense, thin and sharp leaves on the crown are clearly bamboo leaves! I really don't know how such a thin trunk holds up such a big crown!

The strangest and most precious thing is Chimonobambusa, which looks round but feels square. It turns out that bamboo poles on all sides are blunt and round, which is different from what you see and touch. China people often say that "seeing is believing", and foreigners also say that "seeing is believing"; What seems to be true should also be adapted to local conditions.

"Straight inside and straight outside" means inner integrity and doing things righteously. The ancients in China always regarded it as a plot. "Yi Kun" said: "A gentleman respects the inside and righteousness is outside."

It seems that Chimonobambusa bambusa has this kind of "straight inside and outside" character. Scholars and celebrities in the Song Dynasty loved to recite Zhu Fang, saying "aloof and quiet, noble and upright"; Zhu Yi said: "Turn around in four directions at will, holding one section is better than loosening"; Zhang Zishuo: "The front edge is steep on all sides, and the moral integrity is strong throughout life." ...

Zhang Yong, a famous minister in the Northern Song Dynasty, lived a clean life and spoke highly of Zhu Fang. "Bamboo shoots are very strong from the beginning, and severe frost is even more pitiful. How can you not be like a wise man when you report the evil in the world? The branches are tall and green, and the leaves in the forest are sparse and red. However, I am afraid that the law is evil, and my roots go deep into Chu Yun. "

In Huanglong Park, there are many other kinds of bamboo: Phyllostachys pubescens, Four Seasons Bamboo, Xiaoshun Bamboo ... more than 30 kinds of bamboo, dazzling!

I like watching bamboo very much, but most people come to the Moon Temple in front of Fangzhu Garden.

In the center of the temple, Elder Yue is holding a "marriage certificate" and looks amiable. It is really a good matchmaker!

This month, the old man in Huanglongdong has great magical powers. There are eight divination bottles in front of him. People can divine from eight aspects: marriage, love, children, happiness, longevity, literature, official career and wealth. The old man is also very knowledgeable. If he painted a sign such as "Peace Curtain, Pray for God more in the coming year, Flower Hair", it would be easy to say, if he met a sign such as "On the Yaotai, children can't be swept away several times, but just cleaned up by the sun, but the moon is called to send the future", or "The sunset is lonely, and the autumn water is * * * in the sky. Even Master Jin Yong said, "The autograph of the old man under the moon in Hangzhou is probably beyond the reach of any temple in China. It is not only elegant, but also humorous. All collected from famous books and poems ... "

I have great respect for this knowledgeable old man. I put my hands together and made a silent wish in my heart: "Old man under the moon, you can read that marriage book under the moon and tie the feet of men and women with red ropes to get married for life." Then please bless the prosperity and harmony of all families in the world! "

There are two murals on the wall of the temple. On the left is San Xiao's marriage story about Tang Bohu lighting Chou-heung. Tang Bohu, the first of the four gifted scholars in the south of the Yangtze River in the Ming Dynasty, was handsome and resourceful, and was fascinated by the smile of the maid Chou-heung in China Palace. So I thought a lot and married Chou-heung, who looks like a fairy. Really rewarding, pestle can be ground into a needle!

On the right is the story of Guo Yinhong, the champion of the Tang Dynasty, choosing the daughter of the Prime Minister as his wife. Zhang, the prime minister, took a fancy to Guo, a new talented person who read widely and wanted to marry one of his five daughters. The five daughters are different in appearance and graceful in character, so they are not easy to choose. Guo asked each of his daughters to take a red silk thread. As a result, Guo married the third child and his third daughter. This story probably explains the meaning of the old saying "Marriage is predestined".

Out of the Moon Temple, I saw a big yellow faucet sticking out from the opposite rock wall, grinning. The longan is wide open, the dragon horn stands upright, and the dragon beard is Ran Ran. Its mouth spits out clear water. After the water falls on the rock, it comes out of the cracks in the rock and falls into the pool below.

According to legend, in the seventh year of Chunyou in the Southern Song Dynasty (1247), there was a drought in Hangzhou, and Song Lizong invited Zen master Hui Kai from Huanglong Mountain in Jiangxi to pray for rain. One day, there was a sudden thunder, and a stone behind the mountain cracked like a dragon's mouth, and the spring water gurgled out. People thought that Huanglong came back to save the drought, so they called this place "Huanglong Cave". The emperor gave him a golden robe, named Hui Kai the Buddhist Eye Zen Master, and named the Dragon God as spiritual assistance.

The name of the Zen master in Hui Kai is Wumen, and the "Wumen" in the couplet on the memorial archway in front of the garden refers to the Zen master in Hui Kai, so Huanglong Cave is also called Wumen.

On a stone peak next to the pool, one side facing the faucet is engraved with "Water is not deep" and the other side is engraved with "Dragon Spirit".

There is a big concentric lock hanging high in the middle of the circular platform on the hillside. With a diameter of 5 meters, the lock is by far the largest bronze lock in China. There are "ribs" on the bronze lock, and many red lines protrude from both sides. A pair of teenagers are tying concentric locks on a line, and thousands of small and unique concentric locks have been tied on each red line.

It's a pity that such a big platform is not well used. People hold weddings and ceremonies here, and people who get married here also set up a good habit of simple weddings!

There is a "Wong Tai Sin Cave" on one side of the circular platform, and the couplets on both sides of the cave read: "The bridge wind stays far away from Huangshi; The ancient cave cloud deeply protects the vegetarian book. " Just fourteen words explain the story between Wong Tai Sin and Sean who stayed in the Western Han Dynasty.

When Sean fled to Xiapi, he met an old man (Huang Shigong) on the bridge. The old man left his shoes under the bridge and asked Sean to pick them up and put them on him. Sean did it one by one. Shi Gong and Zhang Liang made an appointment to meet again on the bridge. The first two times, the old man suspected that Sean arrived later than him, and the third time, Sean arrived before midnight. The old man taught Sean the art of war. Sometimes, the more humble a person is, the more things he gets!

I climbed high and looked down. I saw the garden green, winding and deep, mountains and rivers blending with stones. I am reminded of the poem "Wandering in Huanglong Cave" by Zhang Dan, a poet of Qiantang in Qing Dynasty: "The bypass roads are surrounded by mountains, and the hedges force the streams to be clear. Sweating like a stone, the color is cold and chewing the pool ice. There are countless dense bamboo greens and several layers of steep pine greens. The sun is cloudy, there is snow on the eaves, and the clouds are covered with vines. Watching the dragon from the valley, flying stones to see the Buddha, very appropriate ... ".

Not far from Huanglong Cave, there are Ziyun Cave and Jingu Cave, which are collectively called "Qixialing Three Caves".

Seeing that it's getting late, we can only give up and wait another day.
