Sixty-four hexagrams

The eight diagrams mentioned above are also called eight classics. Classics, that is, economic classics, express the most fundamental meaning, that is to say, these eight hexagrams are the basic units.

Since there are basic units, there are derivative units, which are the 64 hexagrams. Re-divination means overlapping two basic divination, resulting in sixty-four combinations or sixty-four categories. This new sixty-four hexagrams is also called other hexagrams.

From ancient times to the present, there are many kinds of ordering of the sixty-four hexagrams, each of which reflects an idea. Let's first look at the popular version of the six-pointed star sequence: as shown in the figure.

In order to facilitate memory, Zhu made up a preface to the names of hexagrams in the Song Dynasty:

Gankun Tunmeng needs a lawyer. He is better than a small animal.

My colleagues are very modest and willing, and I am eager to meet them.

It's better to stay away from a big animal than to skin it.

Xian Heng fled to Hedazhuang, and Jin He's family met Qu,

? ????????????????????????????98

Gen gradually returned to his sister and was blessed by the festival for his rich journey.

Younger than Gigi and not helping, it's for the next 34.

According to this divinatory order, the popular Zhouyi explains the words. However, this divination sequence is of little use to our current six-hexagram divination system. I suggest you just know, not recite.

Directly related to divination is another kind of divination sequence, called the Eight Palaces Divination Sequence, as shown in the figure.

The reason why this picture has attracted the attention of the six-hexagram divination system is that we will determine the five elements of a hexagram according to this palace picture in the future.

For example, the five elements of the palace belong to gold, then the eight diagrams and five elements of his palace belong to gold. In the same way, the five elements of Kanggong Bagua are all water, and the five elements of Gong Zhen Palace Bagua are all wood, and so on. The man said, what is this for? Just remember this now, and you will understand it when you use it later.

Another friend asked, how did the hexagrams in the Eight Palaces come from? Or what is the principle of this arrangement? His arrangement rules are based on Fang Jing's sixteen hexagrams. Let's take the palace as an example

Dry hexagrams and six hexagrams, the first change is the wind hexagrams.

Two more changes, that is, Tianshan dodging divination.

There are three more changes, that is, heaven and earth deny divination.

The change of the four watch, that is, the wind sees the hexagrams. The man said, can't we break through the three evils of change? Yes, that was the case of three hexagrams, and now it is six hexagrams, so we can look at six hexagrams as a whole.

The change of the five watch, that is, peeling hexagrams in the mountains.

If the next step is changed, the sixth step cannot be changed. Go back and shift down. That's fire and divination.

At this point, I understand. But many friends may not understand the next step. Why did the palace divination turn into fire in the end? This has to start with the change of six hexagrams. As shown in the figure.

What about the bones, coffins, tombs and so on in this picture? Don't expand it now, and wait until you learn to arrange hexagrams later. There are two important points.

First, desperate hexagrams.

Why is it called this name?

Well, we have to go back to the front to get Luo Shu Guatu. From this picture, we can see that Li Gan, Kunkan, Town Team and Root Seeking are two relative positions. This state is theoretically called hedging, which means two opposite states. Therefore, the ancient people's interpretation of desperate hexagrams is: things are complicated, people are lonely, and they are not in line with the customs. What do you mean by that? In layman's terms, it is incompatible with water and fire.

Second, wandering souls and resurrection.

The tenth divination became a desperate divination. This is the principle of "using nine" in Yijing. If it exceeds nine changes, the hexagrams will appear in the relative house, which is the deviation. In other words, this ninth change is a demarcation point. The former one belongs to my palace, but the latter one is not.

However, we found another problem, that is, before the tenth change, two hexagrams overlapped with other palaces, namely, the volcano brigade hexagrams and the fire wind tripod hexagrams, so we no longer regard these two hexagrams as the direct forces of the palace.

In this way, the only forces directly under the palace are gossip, that is, doing things for the sky, the sky is windy, the Tianshan Mountains are hidden, the heavens and the earth are absent, the wind views the heavens and the earth, the mountains are stripped, the fire is golden, and the fire is big.

There are two hexagrams in Tiedijin and Huotian before and after Lu Ding, which are called wandering soul hexagrams and resurrection hexagrams. Just like a person's rebellion, a person's mind is shaken in the position of fire gold. When I reached the volcano brigade, I ran out, when I reached the peak of the fire, I ran back, and when I reached the fire day, I ran back.

Therefore, wandering divination and returning divination, although both of them belong to our own troops, are not in the local area or at home, and both of them mean vacillation. It is more appropriate to describe them with an old saying, that is, "being in Cao Cao's heart is in Han." Remember this, you will use it when you break the hexagrams in the future. For example, if you want to travel, you should predict whether it is safe to go out. If you encounter a ghost, don't consider whether it is safe to go out. Think about it first, maybe you can't go because of other things. Of course, the final decisive factor still depends on the stubbornness in the hexagrams.

And this eight-palace divination sequence table, we should also remember. I summed up such a memory method.

Dry palace and eight palaces: dry is the sky, the sky is windy, the Tianshan Mountains are hidden, there is no heaven and earth, the scenery is seen, the mountains are stripped, the fire is golden, and the fire is big.

Summarize this sentence:

If the dog runs away, there are still many things to do. Don't be filthy, homophonic "stripping gold without looking at it"

Eight trigrams of Kangong: Kanweishui, Shui Ze Festival, Shuileitun, Shuihuo Jiji, Zehuo Ge, Lei Huofeng, Dihuo Ming Yi and Dishui Master.

To sum up: water-saving, crowded against the wind, bright and easy to get wet. The word Tunzi was moved to the beginning of the sentence and became Tunshui Festival, because there was a famous water-splashing festival.

Geng Xu's Eight Diagrams: Geng Xu is a mountain, full of fire, full of beasts, full of fire, full of shoes, full of joy and intensified wind.

To sum up: the mountain fire spewed and the livestock were damaged, but jy in Li Kui finally disappeared. This means that all the large animals have suffered from the mountain fire, but jy, next to Li Kui, just turned a blind eye.

Earthquake Palace gossip: earthquake is thunder, thunder is peaceful, thunder is hydrolysis, and thunder is constant; The ground is windy, the water is windy, and the wind is stronger than the thunder.

To sum up: in thunderstorm weather, it is bigger to untie the horizontal rope on the well platform than to carry it with you. It means it is a big mistake to play with ropes by the well in thunderstorm weather.

Eight trigrams in Xun Palace: Xun is the wind, small animals in windy days, family members in the wind and fire, the benefits of wind and thunder, innocent thunder in the sky, thunder in the fire, thunder in the mountains and strange wind in the mountains.

To sum up: small livestock family welfare, don't forget this one. It means that you should get into the habit of saving small money, which is good for your family. Don't forget this.

Eight diagrams of leaving the palace: leaving the palace is a fire, the volcano brigade, the fire tripod, the fire and water don't help, the mountains and rivers cover up, the feng shui is not strict, Tianshui litigates, and the sky and fire are the same.

To sum up: fire donkey top, dream to send colleagues. It means that the fire donkey has a plane overhead and dreams of sending people on a trip.

Gong Kun gossip: Kun is the land, mine is the complex, the land is near, the land is flat, thunder is strong, the land is strong, water is needed, and water is better than the land.

To sum up: Mrs. Flynn is big and strong, with a strange temper. Voltaire had a brother named Flintay, tall and strong, with a strange temper.

Gossip about the public: about Ze, Kun, Ze, Ze Shan County, Water, Land, Lei, Guo and Guimei.

Summarized as; Take a bite of crunchy pickles and hold the hand of Miss Sister.

The above is one of my memory methods for your reference only. You can also summarize your own memory methods. In short, if you want to see a certain divination, you will know that it is a palace divination.

Here is a brief introduction to the Fiona Fang diagram of Fuxi's congenital sixty-four hexagrams. The rules for arranging hexagrams in this picture are as follows.

Let's talk about this internal block diagram first: from the dry divination in the lower right corner, up and left respectively, and re-divination in the order of "dry earthquake, Kun Kan Gen Kun". In the upward group, the upper divination is always the same, while the lower divination focuses on "getting rid of earthquakes and worrying about earthquakes" respectively; In the group on the left, the next divination is Gan, and the previous divination is based on the theme of "Gan resists earthquakes and fears poverty". The eight three hexagrams that appear on the picture should actually be six hexagrams, but in order to show their particularity in the horizontal and vertical crossing position, they are marked as three hexagrams

For example, for example, San Yao. His rampage is the same with the next divination, and the last divination goes from right to left one by one. Where's his vertical bar? The same is true of the upper divination, and the lower divination is "dry against earthquake, divination against Kun" from bottom to top.

Let's talk about the circle chart of the outer circle first: the circle chart of the outer circle starts to arrange hexagrams from the top. Turn counterclockwise, from right to left, first the bottom row of the central phalanx, then the second row, or from right to left. Until after the divination, innate gossip's Yangyi's "anti-earthquake" was finished.

Then, the series of "Xun Xun Gen Kun" is arranged clockwise from the right side of the hexagram. Start with a row of right-most hexagrams and arrange them from right to left. Until the Kun hexagrams are arranged.

There is a story about the origin of this picture. That is, this painting dates back to Chen Tuan, Chen Tuan passed it on to a man named Mu Xiu, Mu Xiu passed it on to Li Zhicai, and Li Zhicai passed it on to Shao Yong. However, historical data show that what Shao Yong got was only a dry painting, and as for the meaning of this painting, he got nothing. Therefore, Shao Yong's "complacent person", that is, the truth, was realized by himself, and based on this, he wrote A Quiet History of Huang Ji.

Then there is another question, that is, when these things were in Shao Yong and since the enlightenment, were they all right? Or is it partly right and partly wrong? Which part is right? What part is wrong? This is a matter of opinion.

I don't mean to disrespect the sages by asking this question here. I just hope that when we learn knowledge, we should all study with suspicious goals, not superstitious about the ancients and celebrities, and not blindly follow anyone.
