Oracle Bone Inscriptions is an ancient writing in China, also known as Oracle Bone Inscriptions, Yin Ruins or tortoise shell and beast bones. About 654.38 500,000 pieces of Oracle bones were unearthed in Yin Ruins. Yin Ruins consists of Yin Ruins Tomb Site, Yin Ruins Palace Ancestral Temple Site, Huanbei Mall Site and Oracle Bone Inscriptions Pit.

Oracle bone inscriptions mainly refer to the characters carved by the royal family on tortoise shells or animal bones in the late Shang Dynasty in China for divination.

Besides Yin Ruins, Oracle Bone Inscriptions also appeared in other areas of Henan and Shaanxi, which lasted from the late Shang Dynasty to the Spring and Autumn Period.
